Enter the era of shipping incomplete games with DLC on disc.
Edit - Costs have increased, but so have potential profits the last gen (you could argue starting with the PS2) that gaming can be more profitable than Hollyweird movies - I don't think raising MSRP for games is going to do a lot for...
It happened in the US as well (at least in Ohio) for the most part games were $49.99 - but sometimes the MSRP would be higher on release. First time I remember a big price jack for a regular US release at retail was when SF2 launched it was $69.99 for the SNES. I think StarFox (with it's...
I'm getting really specific here, but I dearly miss Resident Evil as a survival horror game, and I also miss the old-style fixed camera, pre-rendered/bitmap background days. There was something really special about those games, especially 1&2. 2 really set the bar for me, I still play my way...
Exactly, they really don't want to piss off their B&M retailers. The amount of cheerleading GameStop and other big boxes like BB, Target etc - pays off for Big Games Inc. (or Hollywood 2.0). What better way to advertise a game than to slather every store with posters and offer specialized...
I would bet they at least throw together some good bundle deals for the following holiday shopping season. I don't know if we'll see a PS3/360 1 yr price-drop repeat. I really doubt it on the PS4, as it's not $600 this time around, it's already gone through the roof on pre-orders - people are...
Hey! Seriously, thanks for all the replies fellas! I was just talking to my bro-in-law and he straight offered me the wii balance board, so we'll start from there! I'm a massive fan of Punch-Out!! so I can't wait to try that with it, and I'm sure I can pick up a copy of Wii Fit Plus for a few...
Thanks man, definitely not a replacement for my jogging/lifting, just a little supplemental calorie burning. Any games in particular you'd suggest? I'm looking to do some ebay cheap scoopz! ;)
Just kind of looking around for a couple fitness games for 360 and (or) the Wii. I don't have a kinect, but I could acquire one. I've recently kicked up my personal fitness routine and I'm doing a lot of jogging and free weights, but I'd like to try a fitness game for a late night or random...
Thanks, I'm surprised this thing isn't gone,
I actually have 2 minis, the one I'm using right now has the same specs and I use it for a bring work to my home machine. I do a ton of work daily in CS3 (illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and it works great. I would consider upping to an Imac...
My Media Center Mini went down hard a few months ago and after multiple trips to the Apple Store, they have finally replaced it with a new one. I have decided to sell it instead of using it, because I already have 2 computers and can use the cash instead of another Mac. It's the base model...
Some the guys back a few pages need to get a life..I never thought I'd say that...but I can't help myself...Seriously..I actually feel a little jealous...I wish I had nothing more important to spend my time bitching about.
AT&T being the carrier / 1st gen apple product faults / Too early for me.
That being said, this phone is already a ridiculous success. All the hype makes me sick. No phone is worth the attention this thing has gotten in the media.
I'll wait until the market responds and hype...
I don't think I got extras outside of ram, It came with all the NIB items. I will say that you wouldn't be able to tell new from refurb except of the brown box. It came all sealed up and the casing and rubber bottom came absolutely pristine. Everything was nuzzled into pre-cut spaces in 2...
Thanks, I shouldn't have even said anything, I know it's pretty sweet that I got 2 gigs of ram for nothing. But after $519 + tax, I just wanted to be reasonably sure the warranty would still hold.
Awesome, thanks for all the pics. It sounds like this thing is pretty solid.
I'm going to wait and see what kind of media attention this gets after the fever wears off.
Hey gang, I just got my mac mini 1.66 refurb from fedex, that I bought this past week.
I'm super fired up because I checked "about my mac" and it says I have 2gb of ram. I ordered it bone stock for 519 so I know I didn't pay for the ram. But I'm also worried because if I have to send it...
Antec makes some value PSU's that are great, I've had multiple, with only a 350w model that died after years of hard use and being pushed beyond what it should have been.
Thermaltake hasn't let me down.
I'll throw a vote out for X-clio as well, i'm rocking the 450 version.
