No it would not automatically switch as it would see two different devices broadcasting the same network SSID and have problems. Best bet is to just manually go through and switch, is it really THAT time consuming to do that vs. all the time and effort you are putting into NOT trying to do that?

Yeah that was basically my reasoning. Figure the extra $10 or so would be much more worth it since I am doing the run already. I may just go for 1000' box and that way I have lots of extra should I want to do other runs.

So would I notice the 350mhz over 500mhz bandwidth difference of the cat5e over the cat6??? Runs would be probably about 70' at max, won't know until I can actually get under the house and measure. Bulk price difference between the two is less than $10 for 250'.

Couldn't agree more. My first templar sucked major donkey d.... Then I went back through and realized you actually had to think and plan what you were going to do. Game is a blast, yes even for us Mac folk using the WINE port, and I have been impressed with most all aspects of it.

Have you downloaded the Pack Checker to see that all your items are up to date. I had the same issue (albeit with the Mac Port) and ended up that was an issue with WINE. Guys released a new version of the port with some updates, ran through a pack checker and I was able to play for 2 days...
