I am looking for a good PULL fan for the CoolerMaster 212 EVO CPU cooler. It comes with one 120mm fan in it. I can't seem to find the exact fan on NewEgg or Amazon. Is any 120 fan of equal CFM good ?

I am running 4 displays, one stand alone and 3 hooked up to a TH2GO module. I am going to mess around with the EVGA Precision and EVGA OC Scanner software when I get back home... I think I can bump the clocks up a little bit with that software. Thanks for your input !

oh yeah... one monitor is running 1440x900 and the other monitor is running 4096x768. I was running all these same monitors and resolutions with my 9800.

I am running a AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 3.3GHz, 3.7GHz Turbo proc on my ASUS 990 FX Sabertooth mobo with 8Gig ram. OS is win 7 64.

I think I just need to 'optimize' it somehow.

ok. The NB clock settings seem easier to adjust than the HT... I will post some screen shots if I get to confused.

So I recently bought a new GPU for my flight simulator rig. I purchased the EVGA 560 Ti w/2 gig memory. While it was a noticeable difference from my 9800 GT/GTX card... it was not what I was expecting. Right now it is running stock across the boards. What is involved in tuning and OCing this...

ok, so the NB clock and the HT clock are totally separate of one another ? I will look at my BIOS again after work... I may even post some screen shots so you guys/gals can see what I am doing/not doing.

I got it to 3.7GHz at 18.5 multiplier in the Bios. How, and what speed, do I need to increase my NB by ? I saw that in one of the posts on here... that I needed to do that as well.

Should I do all this from the Overdrive program ? just keep bumping the voltage and multiplier for all six cores until it is no longer stable ?

Well, its running again so that issue is solved. It does seem very slow to load up and load software... do I need to reinstall drivers for the chipset or anything like that ? Thanks again Joe !

I just did a clean install of windows 7. The mouse and keyboard (USB) do not work on startup... after a forced restart they work. What am I overlooking ?

I have some Corsair (TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF) memory that is DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) speed. Will this work on a newer mobo that calls for DDR3 memory ?

My computer was working just fine... I unplugged everything (in order to move it) and now it fires up but does not post BIOS. Did the mobo somehow get fried when I was unplugging or plugging all the devices from it ?

Does resetting the bios defaults do the same as clearing the cmos ?

I can't remember the model number off of the top of my head. I know it is an Asus Ai version that is about 3 years old.

I was watching some recorded show on my HTPC last night... the video started to look a little 'jagged' so I decided to reboot the machine. It shut down properly and then the mobo splash screen came up and nothing else. Is this a HDD crash ?

Cool. I am removing an AMD quad core and replacing it with a 6-core. I just installed Windows 7 64-bit, and I have not activated it yet, so a new install is not a big deal... but if it is not necessary then that is even better.
