Agreed. Oblivion was OK in my mind, but it can't come close to matching the fun I had in Morrowind. I was still actively playing 2 years after I got it, but I got bored of Oblivion in a month. Morrowind's ruins were awesome and creepy, Oblivion's seem bland in comparison. Same goes for the...
You're right - I love Inkscape! It's pretty easy and seems powerful. It's one of the programs that I've always kept up to date, telling myself that I'll learn it someday but never doing so. There were a few problems I came across, but I'm not sure if they were my fault or bugs.
What the title says. I'm looking for a Linux program to make some cd covers/labels for my collection, but I can't find any around. Anyone know a good one?
Sirens Deception worked for me just fine earlier. I can't say I've hit anything really buggy save for the fact that I experienced some crashes while fast traveling on main quest missions at times (With Martin in tow, for example).
I have both Opera and Firefox on my machine. I use Opera for just about everything except for the rare page that will not work right. On my machine, Opera loads a tad slower than a tweaked Firefox but renders pages a whole lot faster. Also, I like the way Opera handles tabs better.
I have...
Just a few questions, since I am still a noob to Linux.
I have a gig of RAM, do I really need that much (1.5x) swap space? Also, why such a small root partition?
Ok, I have finally decided to give up Windows for Linux. Yay for me.
Anyhow, I am not quite sure how to partition my hard drive. I am going to use my computer as a regular desktop machine. I have one 120gb drive to work with. What partitions should I make and how big should they be?
I have a 2.5 ghz P4, a Radeon 9800pro 128 meg card and a gig of RAM. At 1152x864, I got 20-30 with everything all the way up, however I would hit only 10-15 fps when many people were on the screen.
Ok, I just did a fresh install of Windows XP Home on my computer, and now everytime I drag a shortcut to the quicklaunch, two identical icons for that program appear there. If I delete one of them, the other remains, but is broken. This happens for anything I try to put in the quicklaunch. Any...
After I played around a bit more, I sorta like the controls. It takes a bit to get, but after a while they become second nature, as most games do. Yes, when this comes out, I will get it. Looks like one of the more involving games in a while. I just hope it stays strong throughout.
M ratings don't seem to stop young people from getting those games. Also, sadly, I know that alot of really obnoxious people playing WoW are well over 18.
On that topic, I nominate the original Morrowind for the Xbox. To be fair, I had one of the Xbox's with the DVD rom that went bad. It would freeze quite literally every 10-15 minutes on a good day, with plenty of glitches. I would frequently fall through the world, get stuck on corners, find...
What would be nice is if they banned those same people from playing the game permanently. Then I may reactivate my account and not have to put up with those whiny idiots. The general attitude of the community is one of the reasons I left in the first place.
Huh, well as I said, my Dell cd works fine with my new PC guts. Is that a wierd thing to happen, then? Does it make a difference that the CD is two years old?
It hasn't so far, unless it flags it and says nothing to you. The ones that bypass activation, I take it, don't ask you at any time for your key? Mine does, so I assume that is the difference, but people say that it is still tied to my mobo.
Everyone says this, but the WinXP disk that Dell gave me works in my new PC - the only thing still Dell about it is the case since I was being cheap when I upgraded. It works fine for me all the time.
