there is a push button on the back of the monitor under where the stand connects. i would assume you just push this in and kinda rock the monitor back off of the stand.

hmm, not that far off from my card. do you have the newest catalyst drivers and the control center? i upgraded the drivers right before i installed the 2405 and haven't had any problems at all.

i'm using an ati radeon 9700pro and am running the 2405 @ 1920x1080 via dvi and a 19" crt @ 1600x1200 via vga. i have no problems other than my 19" crt looks like crap compared to the 2405 :) it's a good NEC one too, or so i thought.

i plan on testing out my xbox and gamecube on the 2405 later today. So, i'll let you know my impressions and will post some pictures too.

it sounds like you have compostie (yellow) and component (the 3 colors) confused. composite should look horrible. component should give much better colors and will allow 480p or HD resolutions of 720p and 1080i. i don't have my 2405 yet, but i would bet component for xbox, gc, and cable will...

it'll show up. i also ordered from a guy @wipro.com, Andy. the order showed up on their site about 2-3 hours after i called him.

this sounds like it might be an anamorphic vs. non-anamorphic issue. try some 4:3 dvd (like a tv show or something) and see if that stretches to fill the screen as well. i don't know of a fix, but i'll look into it when my monitor arrives.

just wanted to confirm you can still get the deal on this monitor. i was able to order it a few minutes ago from this rep Andy for $860 w/ 2 day shipping. hopefully i'll get it wednesday, and when i do there will be tons of pictures taken :)
