I am looking for a quiet drive. The WD1600SD just seems very quiet at 26 idle and 31 seek. I will try to find some comparisons online. Thanks again.

This drive seems to be very quiet, at WD site it says idle-26 Seek 0-31. http://www.wdc.com/en/products/Products.asp?DriveID=88 Has fluid dynamic bearings. While there advertised quiet drive, the WD3200JD is idle-28 Seek 0-33. I can not find any professional reviews on the WD1600SD...

Would anybody know one way or another, if a power supply is on the AMD recommended list, does this make it a quality power supply? This would mean that AMD tested it, right?
