WD1600SD Is anyone using drive?

This drive seems to be very quiet, at WD site it says idle-26 Seek 0-31.

Has fluid dynamic bearings.

While there advertised quiet drive, the WD3200JD is idle-28 Seek 0-33.

I can not find any professional reviews on the WD1600SD.
Does anyone have experience with this drive?
Can anyone post some benchmark comparisons to comparible drives, like the Maxtor Diamondmax 10, Hitachi 7k250, WD WD3200JB, Samsung SP1614C, etc.?

I would like to use two of them in new rig, setup on seperate SATA channels (non-raid use)?
 
After looking for days for a review , I just found this one:

The WD1600SD looks like a very nice drive.

It fits what I'm looking for, something a little smaller (120GB to 160GB), along with great performance and something very quiet.

In the above review, the WD1600SD does lag behind the DiamondMax 10, but the WD1600SD did load all of game level tests faster than the DiamondMax 10.

Does anyone have any opinions on this drive?
 
I'd say save your bucks and get a 160GB Hitachi SATA Drive - http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=100592 - for $24 less. The Hitachi has FDB motors, was StorageReview's desktop performance leader until their new 7K400 came out, and has the same 3 year warranty. Also, WD makes reference to "Because of the time-limited error recovery feature, this product is intended for server applications and is not recommended for use in desktop systems." - http://www.wdc.com/en/products/Products.asp?DriveID=88 Their RE/SD drives are designed to be compatible with enterprise level storage adpaters, not consumer level SATA adapters. I'm sure that the WD1600SD is a great drive, but you can have one every bit as good for a lot less cost. Why spend the extra $$?
 
I am looking for a quiet drive.
The WD1600SD just seems very quiet at 26 idle and 31 seek.
I will try to find some comparisons online.
