I never did find a 120hz monitor. I remember, a few years ago, they were fairly common, and not even necessarily advertised as being, "3d". What happened?

I want a monitor with a higher refresh rate. AFAIK, 120hz with shutter glasses == 60hz for each eye. I am not stuck on the 3d thing, but I prefer a refresh rate higher than 60hz anyway.

My monitor died about a week ago, and I've been stuck on a CRT ever since, but I haven't been able to find a decent deal on a monitor with a refresh rate higher than 60hz. Perhaps I'm missing something somewhere?
