Agree with your comment about the MicroCenter i3-2100/MSI H61 MB deal. (But I don't have enough comments to post to that thread.) I happen to have gotten in on the deal. On that Friday morning, I found out about the deal, went to the MC web site, and ordered the combo for in-store pickup. (There were maybe 19 boards showing in-stock at the time at central Chicago store.) Later in the day, I picked up the combo - no problem.
It was a good deal, it sold out quick, it happens. Odd how people a week later are still arguing with employees and calling corporate to try and get the deal, lol. Similar thing going on in the Slick Deals thread on same topic. They can't seem to let it go - kind of a bizarre situation.
