    honestly unless you are going to make a very nice offer price-wise i think i'm gonna go with the AD700's just cause the price point on those is pretty sweet right now and i could use the leftovers toward some better monitors as i'm rolling on some m-audio av30's right now

    Something else to consider. I have some ATH-AD900 Air (open back ones) at home that I use for mastering. However, I also have a chronic case of upgradeitis. If you are interested, I might sell them to you and get myself some 1000s. They are used, of course, but in good condition. If that sort of thing interests you I can take some pictures and you can consider it further.
