The Blood of Dawnwalker (from former Witcher 3 devs)

Biggest problem I've had so far is randomly getting stuck in one spot during combat, then enemies can just rain down blows until your stamina depletes

Apparently the cinematic animations were made for 30 FPS because this mod can break them. I thought we were beyond LA Noire tech when it came to facial motion capture.

14 hours in, 21 days left ingame. liking it more and more.
its a huge world. lots to do, tons of cool quests, the mainquest can be kinda grindy, destroying multiple of the same camps etc. but you dont have to do that stuff.
just got to the city, and its nighttime, running across rooftops, vampire-fantasy fullfilled for sure. cant wait to check it out in daytime, too
 
This Die Hard gamer I work with said he almost finished this game. He platinums like every game he likes. I'm not sure how much he get out of games just seems addicted. He's a console kiddie trying to covert him to PC but he told me the new Xbox is going to be a PC basically. Games on a 60" screen something I would never do told him he would get his life back if he gamed on a smaller oled screen.

Who gives a shit what he enjoys gaming on and how exactly will using a smaller display "give him his life back"?

FWIW, it went from Mixed (with about 2k reviews) to Very Positive on Steam... pretty solid performance for the first title from a new studio. I don't have the time right now, but I'll be sure to give this Witcher: Vampire game a try.

same old with steam. the first couple hundred reviews are always mixed because people with potato PCs cant run it properly (and its not a very optimized game to be honest).
everyone else is just playing and having a blast. day 2 onwards the reviews get more and more positive.

game is great. it really scratches the old witcher itch and is a great RPG in its own right.

the systems they rely on are mostly great. the time restraint has been discussed to hell and back, but in my opinion its a very welcome addition that adds so much to this genre.
i have 14 days left in my playthrough, after almost 25hours of playtime. i can see the last two lieutenants in those 14 days and im wondering how i will accomplish it.


theres two or three big quest chains that i started and wanna see where they go, and thats probably gonna be it for this playthrough. im sure theres loads that i wont see this time around, and thats great imo.

To add to it we all have some type of addiction to computers and/or gaming or we wouldn't be here for 20+ years.
We all live for a bit then die might as well enjoy the ride.
