What are you nerds playing this weekend?

Gonna give The Quarry another pass. There are mods to kill of the excessive motion blur now, and I need something chill and story-heavy. That's basically a solid 8-hour movie game. Since it's now on Gamepass, I might give Star Wars Outlaws another shot on Sun/Mon. Last time I tried it was for only a couple days on the Ubisoft monthly pass, and I guess they overhauled the game since.

Ugh... Can't do the ship mockup in 15.1 seconds or better anymore.

Did it on console just a few years ago, but I think I developed cubital tunnel syndrome in my left arm since then.

Ace Combat 6 emulator, BF6, Ready or Not with scenario editor and DCS F-14. Downloaded some new maps/mods for RoN so might try those soon.

I have some older games like Star Wars Republic Commando that I might get to soon if I can find more time.

For a 2007 Xbox 360 game I think Ace Combat 6 looks quite well, and I do like the scale of missions/unit amount. Glad to be able to play it on PC.

I've been playing a whole bunch of games lately and have finished a few and have started new ones as well.

Got done with Wreckfest for the 2nd time, I might get Wreckfest 2...maybe.

I finished up Afterfall InSanity: Extended Edition. One strange game with weird performance issues, but not bad all and all.

I beat RoboCop: Rogue City. I liked it a lot. I am currently playing the sequel Unfinished Business, which is more fun imho.

I finally got through Sniper Elite: Resistance. I really think they phoned that one in, too much like Sniper Elite 5.

Got a a little indie gem called Moon Mystery for 89c. Reviews are terrible, but I liked it and had non of the performance problems that a lot of peeps complained about.

Started Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts. I have mixed feelings about it. I've finished the first 2 missions so far and I'm not sure if I really like it yet.

Got 7 hours into Alone In The Dark 2024. I like it. Reminds me of RE and the graphics are pretty damn good too.

I'm about to install Avatar, hope I Iike it.

When I’m taking a break from bigger games, I sometimes play online casino games just for a change of pace. I like trying different slots and table games, especially when I only have a bit of time and don’t want to start another long campaign. I’ve been checking out https://casinoholyspin.biz/ and seeing what games are available. It’s obviously pretty different from the games you mentioned, but sometimes I just want something quick and simple between longer gaming sessions.
You’ve been busy. I haven’t played most of these, but RoboCop: Rogue City is one I really enjoyed too. I’ve been playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance, The Witcher 3, Helldivers 2 and Resident Evil 4 Remake lately. I’m also tempted to try Avatar at some point, so let me know how you like it. Alone in the Dark 2024 is another one I’ve had on my list, especially since I’m a big Resident Evil fan.

Finished Unicorn Overlord a few days ago (excellent game, that probably sat in my backlog for too long because of its silly title.)

Picked up Trails in the Sky Ch 1 Remastered for Switch 2 and have been enjoying it (it's currently on sale on most platforms atm too). Game looks great on Switch 2 (don't believe the Switch 2 demo if you try it - it's the Switch 1 version). It played well enough on Graphics Mode (looking comparable to the PS5 version) but I found there's a weird frame rate hit during cut scenes. Field and combat was smooth. In performance mode, the cut scene 'hitch' disappeared'. Image is a bit softer, but I don't notice it much on this type of game and the stable 60fps is worth it.

Avatar was just straight up boring to me, I have like 6hrs into it.
The environment is gorgeous @ 4k but it is mostly empty and everything in it wants to kill you like the movies.

The crafting system sucks also, as well as the gear you get, but to be fair I only had 6hrs in so...
The combat is cool but rarely do you get to find any. One day I might give it another go. Maybe.

Alone in the Dark was really cool, I would recommend it since you like RE games.

Since I'm old and set in my ways, I'm replaying Pathfinder: Kingmaker. I downloaded a mod with additional classes and such, and trying out a Ninja Rogue and a Zen Archer, as well as a main who is an Arcanist this time.

16 days off in two work days going to Finish Borderlands 4 then play Control Resonant then hit Dragons Dogma 2 picked up the DLC already. I might play Monster Hunter or Battlefield 4 also
Main Focus is going to be Dragons Dogma 2.

Plan on picking up Pizza Hut first day off enough food to last me 3 days. I haven't bought Pizza Hut since a door Dash driver charged me 10.00 extra a few years back

I finished Sin. I first played it in the late 90s and thought it was "meh" at best. I still have that opinion, though there's a bit of fun hidden in it.

I'll eventually play the Wages of Sin expansion. Since the game was remastered, I'll wait for a sale on it before I get it.

Other than that, this weekend was for Quake II Enhanced Edition and DRL.

GTA V with chromatix with all extras .. LWE with all landscapes .. extra car mods … spawner and trainer .. it looks and plays so nice at 3440x1440. Never played it really and about 60% through.. I’m not home much lately but this is my jam when I am.
