Warframe Coop MMO

Forgot to mention Tennocon happening today, but there is an Umbra Forma alert (good to have) and they dropped the trailer for next year's expansion. Hope you like NIN (I ❤️). Warframe 1999 is going to link Dark Sector (DE's first game) to Warframe, and should finish linking cross save / cross play functionality (play works now, they are moving slow on save to ensure not killing accounts). Also, Warframe mobile next year! Actual full game, not a BS gatcha game.

Very nice! Also there is an clan level alert- run missions every week to get stuff (can be done in 3 steel path missions). And I'll also mention that the whispers in the walls mapsets are pretty awesome.
 
Zepher is pretty good, Volt and Gauss are fast on the ground, and Titania is a literal flyer. Oh, Wukong can also to the 'turn into a fast cloud' thing. Many options!
 
Oh- Tennocon is happening now- watch on Twitch for an AK-52 in game, and later they will give a Saryn Prime.
 
Random question...is Warframe harder or easier to get into for co-op? We found Destiny kind of a chore to get into and sync up and make sure we each had the right version, DLC etc.
 
Very easy- you can do most of the game solo / with PUG, but some storyline arcs you must do solo. All non-storyline missions you choose solo/friends only/invite only/public and go. If you choose public, the game will try to add people (ps/xbox/ios/steamdeck) until the team is full (4 people) until the main objective is complete. Oh- the game updates like an MMO, you are always on the correct version.
 
Koumei and the five fates dropped today, ne warframe (and story bit) about a Japanese / luck/fate based 'frame. Huge rework to menus and pets, and free Caliban (sentient warframe) just for logging in.
 
Somehow I found myself reinstalling this yet again today and it's sucking me back in. I just can't get over how much this game has evolved.

Warframe Update 39: Isleweaver Highlights​


  • New Duviri Node: Isleweaver introduces the floating isle of Scholar’s Landing with a full Warframe loadout. Players battle Murmur forces and a new boss, Oraxia, in a new Spiral mission structure.
  • Operation: Eight Claw (June 25 – July 16): Time-limited event tied to Isleweaver with unique objectives, rewards (including Arcanes, cosmetics, and new Signas), and community milestones.
  • New Warframe – Oraxia: A spider-themed predator Warframe with toxic and stealth abilities. Comes with signature weapons: Scyotid (secondary) and Spinnerex (whip melee).
  • New Incarnon Weapon – Thalys: A heavy scythe with shard mechanics and deep evolution customization.
  • Major Valkyr Rework: Overhauled Rage-based passive, rebalanced abilities, new Hysteria mechanics, and expanded melee combos.
  • New Augments: For Kullervo, Citrine, Caliban, and Jade, expanding build options via Syndicates.
  • New Player Experience Overhaul: Complete Junction rework with new UI, task/reward structure, and better quest flow. Captain Vor reworked as a more engaging intro boss.
  • Quality of Life: Improvements across Captura, Dojos (NPC decorations, bulk funding), Helminth feeding UI, loadout slots (cap increased to 30), and Slam attacks (now scale with fall height).
  • Performance and Fixes: Major memory and shader optimizations, over 100+ bug fixes, script error resolutions, and numerous environmental/cosmetic polish passes.
  • New Cosmetics and TennoGen: New skins, bundles, ephemera, and operator cosmetics, including the Citrine Aphrodita Collection, Oraxia Bundle, and 1999 Round Table hair pack.

Digital Extremes Reveals Warframe’s Next Major Narrative Chapter, The Old Peace Launching in 2025

Later this year, Warframe will be updated with a new Narrative Chapter titled 'The Old Peace'...it will usher players into the past, where they will relive the long-forgotten tale of Tau and his childhood friend, Adis, and the war between the Orokin and their creations, the Dax Anarch Warriors (a new enemy faction), on the Perita moon...alongside The Old Peace, the developers will also add a new side story titled 'The Devil's Triad'

Digital Extremes also unveiled the Operator's graphically remastered character models and cosmetic assets to improve visual fidelity, including new facial animations, and align with Warframe’s latest assets...

I have also been enjoying the still alpha Soulframe they have been working on. It's not a Warframe although sensibilities are there. I strongly recommend trying it out. https://www.soulframe.com Sign up and almost virtually guaranteed you will get an invite. I am amazed at how good it is presently is already.

Yeah- it looks lovely and is wonderfully strange. I should hit it again, haven't looked in a couple of updates. I hear they have full questlines in it now.

New frames seem buggy(and are terrible for Spy missions). New Railjack stuff does not use your ship, but uses a loaner that is decidedly worse than yours if you had previously put in effort in to equip it. Disappointing
 
Agreed on both- Pablo even mentioned the new frames were going to be terrible for spy. :ROFLMAO:
 
He did, and yet idiots still bring them. I find myself too often going solo for things like invasions or Archon Hunt
