Doom 3 open coop with my son. We're nearing Delta Labs and man - the pace is picking up and it's getting intense. Shame the game didn't ship with native coop.
Well that was interesting. Scripted bosses (guardian of hell and cyberdemon) are broken on this mod. Won't die. Otherwise we finished it. Good times! Highly recommended.

Still on Space Marine 2. A couple friends have recently become hooked, and I'll be helping them level up their characters.

Pretty much completed Hades 2 - beat all the upgraded optional bosses, but haven't yet finished some of the "story arcs" (importantly one 'major' arc). At this point, I'm ready to be done with the game (I don't care about hitting the upper Fear goals) but I would like to finish the main storyline. That's one thing I preferred about Hades 1 - it didn't overstay its welcome. There were quite a bit of runs to finish the story, but it never felt like a grind to get there. Hades 2 has become a bit of a grind, especially as you hope to encounter characters to continue their story arc, but don't encounter them during a run. I wish there was a way to 'guarantee' story progression for runs - maybe similar to how Chaos runs are initiated.

I have started DQ3 2D-HD in earnest now - tried to play it before, but ToTK took over. DQ3 looks great - I'm a bit worried that this game will spoilt me with its visuals so much that I won't be able to play another oldschool 2D JRPG again. Maybe at some point, DLSS 5 (and AMD's equivalent) can give all old games a 2D-HD filter. I'd be up for that.

That's no fun Domingo, wishes for a speedy recovery. :)

Wellll, fucking Division 2 starting doing those Delta errors shit again so I continued with my 3rd Ghost Recon: Wildlands playthrough.

NOW TD2 works again lol, I will be playing between GR:WL and TD2 which has a Global Event Ambush from the first game going on.

I'm stuck having dental surgery on a holiday weekend...but at least Forza 6 is out now! I'll probably end up playing that way more than I normally would.
Forza 6 came out 11 years ago.

...

Oh, you mean Horizon 6.

Installed Call of Duty: Warzone for the first time. Only tried out the firing range for now. Liking the feel, graphics, and audio. Will play a real match later today or on the weekend.

BF6. Finally finished Atomic Heart DLC (except the 2nd one, skipped that). In 1-3 weeks I will try and find time to start Death Stranding 2.

Finished Hardline and I really wish that I had played it earlier. Good game overall.

I have 12.5hrs into RoboCop: Rogue City so far and I'm really digging it. It's a little cheesy and janky but I like it.

I'm on my 3rd play through of MudRunner and have done all the challenges so far, now working on Grizzly Pass.

Doing my 2nd play through of Wreckfest and have made the National Amateurs Champion in 11hrs so far.

Have about 15hrs into Cronos: The New Dawn, and while being frustrating, I still like it, especially with the weird ass environments and overall feeling of it.

Been playing Element TD 2 and I'm really into it, even with me being new to TD games.

Still playing Sniper Elite: Resistance. What pisses me off, it's the same game as Sniper Elite 5 with new maps and a different protagonist (and if you want, you can use a skin for Karl Fairburne).
Same controls, same sounds, the graphics are worse though for some reason (lots of jaggies and the AA does nothing to alleviate it).

Started playing AVP 2 that I never got a chance to back in the day. It took all kinds of shit to get it running good on W10, it still has some stuttering every 5 seconds and half the time it doesn't want to load a saved game with out giving me a CTD. But it's cool and in the dark I jumped out my seat a few times with a fucking Xeno behind me.

Still playing TTW and enjoying myself of course.

I finally got into Crimson Desert.. it's ok, it looks amazing although it looks like there's a team of gardeners using leaf blowers around me at all times... I am not hooked but it def has a TW3 vibe I like... nothing has really drawn me in lately.. except for GTV 5 (enhanced) oddly enough.. with ChromatiX and LivelyWorld mods it looks amazing.. and I never really played the single player campaign.. I am 40% into the SP camp.. It's remarkably great.. I might jump back into that.

DQ3 has its claws in me now, and is perfectly suited for handheld play (plays flawlessly on my ROG Ally using Bazzite). I had to restart the intro a couple of times to get my party just right (though would later find out it's not that difficult to change 'personalities' nor is it a classbreaker if your personality isn't ideal for your class/job). I'm repeating myself - but, wow, does 2D-HD look great on these old titles.

Also, finally got the last bit of main story finished in Hades 2 - great game and characters, but a bit too much of a grind near the end.

Gonna start up CoD:MW 2019 in a few - last CoD I ever played was 4-MW when it came out lol

Finished Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil Open Co-op with my son. We just ended it at the final boss because he didn't show up (I guess there's a bug). Haha. It was fun though.

Tonight we started playing the first Quake on LAN co-op. Pretty fun! I've never played it. We're on the second episode.

Got a ton of FH6 in and some D4... might jump back to some Civ 7 again, curious to try the new changes they made to it (although i rather enjoyed it as it was TBH).

I'm attempting Expedition 33. Can't say I "get" it yet, but I'm going to give it an honest attempt. Worst case, I'm out $20 and I need to kill time until the Black Flag remake drops. I have a feeling Forza Horizon isn't going to keep my attention for more than another week or two. It's fun, but it also feels hollow.

Forza is one of those games I binge up front, but once I complete everything, I keep coming back for the weeklies. It is enough to keep it fun and interesting at that point, without being bored of it.

Played a bit of the Rune Dice demo on Steam. Pretty fun. Simple. Beat all of the available bosses pretty quick, but I did struggle a bit on the third. Mostly because I unlocked some items that made the game harder rather than easier. XD

I picked up Mario Kart World and Mario Tennis Fever for the Switch 2. Both games are fun, I'm enjoying them.

Other than that, I'm still doing some Quake II Enhanced Edition and Skyrim.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but I'm enjoying myself now. It's like Final Fantasy crossed with Sekiro...but in a weird French fever dream.

I just finished up replaced. A bit on the slow side overall, but I enjoyed it. It's probably the first pixel art visual style that actually delivers some modern visual style while using it. Loved the art direction overall.

I just started metal eden. Really fun old school super twitchy FPS after getting over some sensitivity settings adjustment. I'd put the plya somewhere between quake world and tititanfall 2 for twitchy speed stuff.

guys, its Wednesday... ;)
probably more fh6 and pga 2k25. starting to get bored with horizon though, running out of shit to do and its all

Yeah, I really enjoy FH6, but it is basically a much better version of FH5. I'll end up playing a ton of it, but it is not one of those games I will be loading more than maybe 2 times a week or so.
