Launch date is May 14. I like OP, but the phone prices have risen pretty steeply over the past few years. Still, I'm very interested in the 7 Pro. It or the 4XL will be my next phone.

I'd rather like them to make Huawei P30 competitor. In other words top specs at least chipset wise but more compact form factor. I find my P30 to be the absolutely maximum size (and weight) that is still somewhat usable with one hand. It's a bit too tall though mostly thanks to small bottom bezel (bottom nav bar should be a bit higher).Still happy with the 5T but their costs have hit a max point I don't want to cross so sadly I will be looking at other midrange devices. I wish OP would make a true mid ranger. 1080P OLED, Decent camera, SD 6XX, 6GB ram and 128GB storage for 300-400$ sign me up!
I got a cheap case from Amazon for $7 bux. Just wanted something in case I bit the bullet on a 7 Pro. The case is about as thick as my Pixel 3XL case and just a bit longer. The 7 Pro or Pixel 4XL will be my next phone.Disappointed. The phone is significantly more thick with a big price hike. Would probably get the newly announced Pixel instead of this.

Significantly more thick than what? We have no idea what you are comparing it to.

Again the same question, we know that the OP7 Pro is 8.8 mm thick but what phone are you comparing it to?OP7 Pro is 8.8mm.
The OnePlus we loved for their 'flagship phone without flagship prices' premise is gone. $669+ is essentially flagship prices now. After seeing the Pixel 3a at $399/$479, this phone doesn't seem as appealing anymore. The only thing I like about it is the 90Hz OLED display and that's it.
$699 for the 8GB/256GB 7 Pro is still a lot less expensive than the $999 I paid for my 4GB/128GB Pixel 3XL.
This thing has no face id, correct?
still not top tier camera?!? Really? Have you checked its ratings on DxOMark? While it looks nice still not top tier camera and early reviews are that the 90hz chews through the battery.
The Asus Zenfone 6. Just announced today, and it's the OnePlus killer.
