The console was released too early. You'll notice if you look at the road map we will have something new to do every single week.

There is 6 weeks of content planned out and while I am pumped and will play a lot, I still have balance and play multiple games. I doubt I will get bored.

Most of those people have been playing for a couple months and are just sitting around waiting for expansion cause they beat it after 150 hours.
 
Anyone planning to start a clan on the PC version? Nice to have one just for the weekly rewards if nothing else.
 
Earlier this year I was super pumped to play but now I'm not even sure if I will fire it up at all.
Maybe play the campaign and try out some of the endgame pve.

I don't know about the player numbers, but there is more content on launch in this game than there was in the first. It forced Bungie to rethink their gameplay systems and made the game much better, though. Destiny 2 feels much more shallow at this point than Destiny, and that is a big problem for a sequel.

This game is basically the Gem of all games I waited for this year along with Divinity Original Sin 2.
 
I'm playing with a controller just so I can distance myself from the screen due to all the noise graphic wise going on in game.
 
Them leaving in the controller advantages is unreal. It's almost like cheating. If you've going to do a PC game, do it right. Regardless....happy launch day everyone. Hoping we can all log in today!

yeah the PC release is probably going to sell very very well. I dont know anybody that isn't buying it.

I thought the auto aim obky worked if your actually aiming with the controller. I dont think you gain auto aim simply by having it plugged in and you would need something like a xim to gain auto aim with m+kb or am I mistaken?

They actually do use kb/m on console though. XIM adapters, even some streamers do it.

the aim assist is definitely overblown, the only time its OP is when they are sniping.
 
If they leave auto-aim on for controllers in PVP, this game will die (on pc). This is 1 reason I will not play until it is confirmed turned off for PC

What kind of point are you trying to make... make the most damaging gun easier kill with is no big deal.

Nvidia Adaptive/Optimal power modes lock me to 721 MHz core. In the beta, these worked fine. Performance Mode locks me to 1101 MHz, which is broken just like the beta. I can't achieve full 3D boost no matter what I do. I'm guessing this is a Windows 7 issue.

Also, the ALT+TAB trick for RivaTuner was patched.

Waste of money.

Have you tried using the EVGA Precision skin for Afterburner?

You can enable K-boost with that, which forces your clocks.

My point is it doesnt matter. Controller with aim assist or kb/m the better person will win everytime.

What card? Also Nvidia pushed out new drivers yesterday or the day before. Running Windows 10, 1080gtx @ 1440p smooth as buttah
 
I fixed it by creating a game profile for the Battle.Net App and forced it to Performance Mode. Now the game boosts properly.

Anyone get HDR working properly? I have a 1080Ti and a Samsung 48JU6700. It's one of those early 4k tvs that can support HDR but only 8bit.

When I turn HDR on in the game the colors are too bright and blown-out.

I'll report if I have any luck on my MU7000 when I get home, I've got the same question with regards to my own setup.
 
In the meantime I just turned HDR off.

So I've never played Destiny before. I imagine I'd want to play with keys+mouse, because we can?

I've played through the first solo part, now I have access to multiplayer (L2). Any tips?
