Best Black Friday Deals!

I installed it like 2 months ago. I have several games on there. I just think it's garbage. I'd guess I'm hardly the only person with that opinion around here. Once you get on Steam everything else looks like garbage.

Who knew that the platform that's been out for 13 years would be better than one only out for 5.

Definitely the best deal is the spend $300 at Dell, get $100 back using Amex. I've done that with 2 enrolled cards and that instantly makes nearly any purchase a bargain. Also getting Madden 17 for Xbox One for $21 shipped was a winner.

Out of curiosity, which AMEX cards do you have that you're getting the Dell offers on?

Samsung's KS8000 is a very good choice for a bright HDR10 TV. The 8500 is the curved version, and the 9000 (and curved 9500) only have a little extra post processing - so for picture quality, the 8000 is within a gnats ass.

Here's the price tracking for it - http://camelcamelcamel.com/Samsung-UN60KS8000-60-Inch-Ultra-Smart/product/B01DRPWTLC

Yeah that's way too much $$$

I've bee looking at the $500-$600 TV's. The best I can find is the LG 55UH6030 but I'm having a hard time finding info about it.

I'm reading that LG HDR Pro is a scam and not real HDR10. Meaning it will support it but it will not display it.

Also can't find the input lag specs anywhere.

Not sure if what I want is in my price range.

Would that tv just be a waste of $500?

We don't play tons of games on console but my kid does and I play once in a while but mostly for movies and tv.

Per the second post, here's the Rtings review - http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/uh6100

If it were me, I'd save up and get a nicer 4K TV.

Fry's is gonna have the Thermaltake Core P3 for 60 after email promo code. Think I might grab one for a bench case.

Black Friday is turning out to be a bust. I saw FF VX for $30 today but sold out already. But other then it's lack luster.

Not only that, but they are complete garbage fans. On my last gaming PC, I used them.. after a few months they start squeaking/squealing. I thought I just got a few bad ones, so I bought them again for my ESXi server.. nope, same thing with the squeaking/squealing. I ended up ditching them for some Corsairs.

Amazon has Sony MDR XB950BT Headphones on sale for 88 bucks right now if you like extra bass. I bought one just for fun, i'm not basshead at all, but from what i read for this kind of money you cant go wrong. These are wireless/bluetooth (with cable included, for PC folks)

Even the HeadFi guys seem to like them

I own and like these quite a bit. They're not the caliber of my vmoda CF wireless but for 88 bones they're a smokin good deal. Very comfortable, 20 hour battery life, easy to use controls, tight + smooth + deep bass, the mids and highs are ok but lacking in some clarity/presence. These sound best with electronic/pop music personally. Call quality is very good as a wireless headset. Again for that price they're great.

Last Sunday i ordered Ultrasone Pro 900i from Adorama for 250 bucks which was pretty nice deal, but then i changed my mind and cancelled and thought i'll go for V Moda M100's as they dropped last year to 150 bucks. Then Sony 950's showed up and i thought why not... I'm going in knowing that is just fun headphone to put on every now and then, nothing more than that.

But, who knows what else i'm going to stumble upon tonight, wife is going to kill me, this is my 4th pair already...

all i ever buy on black friday is turbotax

still waiting for the price drop on that, hopefully tomorrow it'll kick in

Picked up a Xbox one s with battlefield 1, gears of war 4, and an extra controller for $249 via dell. Best deal on an xbone s I could find.

Black Friday has been a bust for the past 5-6 years. It's generally an exercise in creative marketing.

Was readying an analysis and apparently less than 2% of Black Friday deals are actually the lowest price over the year -- and most of those are in-store limited supply items.

That said, some of those gift card deals look pretty tempting... But again, you're likely paying at or above the normal discounted price you could find throughout the year for the item.

Not only that, but the majority of the items for sale on Black Friday are discontinuted, have issues, or get poor reviews. They're just ditching last year's junk on us.

I want one but going to see how my Logitech Pros are which should be here today or tomorrow
I play most of my games with a X-Box elite controller for the most part except games that don't support it.

I use an Xbox One controller for things like racing games but still love a KBM for shooters.
