Steam 2014 Winter sale is here! runs from December 18th to January 2nd.

Bioshock Infinite is currently $7.49, but season pass is $9.99. I own but have not completed both Bioshock 1&2, but I actually planned on starting them this weekend. At $7.49 I'll likely pickup Infinite now so I have it when I finish the first two, but is the season pass or any of the other DLC worth it?

EDIT - I missed that I could get both for $14.99. Worth it or stick with the base game?

It's worth it. I thought episode 2 was much better than episode 1. I got 30 hours of gameplay from all of it.
 
Damn, I wish Payday 2 was at the $5 level. I think I bought the original game during last year's X-mas sale for a few bucks (I'd have to check my Steam purchase history to verify). How's the sequel and is it worth it at $7.49?

That racing game looks sweet, but at $25, too rich for my blood. :eek: LOL @ the goat game. WTF? :D

Same. I wouldn't of bought the game. But a 50% discount on a more expensive game is definitely worth more of a vote then 20 fucking cents.

Yea I'd like to find the morons that voted for a $1 game to go on sale and shoot them. I was hoping for iL-2 to get a deeper discount also.
 
Yeah, I always voted for the deepest discount. Who votes for $0.25 off, lol. Here's a quarter kid, don't spend it all at once.

The 1.0 release is just 4 days old! Better than $60 for the game and another $30 for actual tracks as DLC.

Fucking great deal. It's become our favorite lan game. Put well over 300 hours into it. Plus they are always adding stuff and making improvements
 
I want the Evil within but just asked on the Steam forums about bugs cause it has issues.

I am tempted by this but with the current condition of my backlog it is highly unlikely I will get around to playing it before the summer sale when it will most likely be cheaper.

I bought it in Alpha. Damn fucking worth the $32.99 i paid for it. I never ever regret buying it. I Played several mods for it. Namely Breaking Point. Which (was) amazing, havent played it lately.


I bought Assetto Corsa this morning. Still waiting for it to D/L. Been wanting a good racing game.
 
tempted to bite on Evil Within at $20.39...is the game stable now and worth $20?...still waiting for Shadow of Mordor to go on sale...will also pick up Wolfenstein: The New Order if it has a decent price drop

I grabbed shadow of mordor for 13.64 from g2a about 2 weeks ago. Haven't played much of it yet but kick ass game so far.
 
Got Lords of the Fallen. That may end up being my only purchase on Steam during the sale, it's what I was after. Debating on getting the DLC, we'll see. I can't play it until I get home tomorrow night unfortunately.

Picked up Star Wars Empire at war my only goal in the game is to spawn Darth Vader and have him kick some ass.

I'm so done with turned based strategy games pissed me off when I can't move cause I have to click another turn =) RTS is where it's at like classic Warcraft...
 
Still have yet to purchase anything this sale, which is rare of me.
 
There's a bunch of very cheap stuff on my wishlist I want to buy, but I can't because they might show up in a flash sale. Kind of frustrating.
 
What I got was some missing DLC (FEAR 2 Reborn, Borderlands 2 - Psycho Pack) and two games that were very cheap (Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, How to Survive, Dead Space 2) and complete the series. What is challenging me is that some of the stuff that I want to get is still too new and thus too expensive, plus I'm being tapped by some of the previously purchased content who said, "You got me, why don't you play me?"
 
should I keep praying for aliens:isoloation to get low again? Or should I jump at the chance if I see if @ 20?
 
only picked up how to survive so far might grab the far cry collection dont know yet, like many others i have a backlog that i really should dig into lol
 
bit on Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition for $10.19...never bought the original version so this seems like a fantastic deal
 
Is Planetary Annihilation worth $5.99? I am looking for something that has the scale of Supreme Commander with good AI.

You're going to miss a lot of references then. But it's still a hilarious game. It's choc-full of Easter eggs. That's pretty much the whole game.

Also want to know. Looking at the comments in the support forum it appears this game is a turd, but would like some other opinions.
