And what do you get KH wise? :)?

I'm on 2 x 280x cards, and 3x 290s

1 290 gets 880KH
2 x 290 get 955KH each
2x 280s get 720 and 740.

6 R9 280X 690 each
4 R9 270X 475 each
1 7970GHZ 690

being added:

2 R9 290 ( got them at 399$ each from amazon!)

13 R9 270X

on order 6 R9 290

i grabbed the 270x as this is what is available at a reasonable price, everyhting else is almost 50% higher than msrp, i'll be flipping them into 280X and 290 once the prices come down.

My God, 13 270Xs... What would you do if litecoin crashed?

I would imagine he would continue to mine, and buy up as many as he could at the "crashed" price since there is a 99% chance they will rebound even higher just like BC.:D

2x tahiti le 7870s = 340khs each
4890 = 90khs (gf's pc. does not pay for electric)
my cpu can do 65khs with half the cores so I just started doing that.

Every little bit counts when you are small time like me! :-P
Mining Doge

Eight R9 290's.

One of them does 960 under water. On air it did 890.

My two Sapphire Tri-X cards do 890. I bet if I put them under water they could also hit 950.

The other cards all do 880 with the standard 1000/1500. It's strange how some cards just drop once you bump them over 1000 core and the occasional card actually likes going over. I mean I have three other cards under water so heat isn't an issue, but anything over 1005 and their hash drops dramatically.

Are any of you undervolting? I've tried undervolting through the Scrypt settings but it doesn't seem to do anything. If I undervolt through MSI afterburner, every time I restart the undervolt goes a little more towards normal and after a couple of restarts I'm back at stock voltage. I also didn't notice any improvement in performance when undervolting.

I've also had a lot of issues with the primary card crashing the computer if I stop mining and keep it at 1500Mhz memory. The ones without a monitor connected don't care, but powerplay really screws up the primary. I've solved this by flashing the PT1T bios on my primary cards to disable powerplay. Does anyone else have this issue and are there any ways to solve this besides the BIOS flash?

i learned form my bitcoin experience in 2011, i stopped mining when it crashed to 3$ and due to that i lost massive potential $$$, anyway all what i am paying now is already covered by my profits from bitcoins i mined back then,

i'll be selling my R9 270X gradually.

2x 6950 @ 6970 shaders
1x 5870
1x 7850

I can't be the only one here posting with older tech...

No you're not, I still have 5870 & 5830 cards running 24/7 for years alongside newer 280x cards.

Nothing impressive:

7970 undervolted to .963v getting ~660
270x getting ~480-485

7970 is clocked low specifically because it runs hot (it's a reference model all the way back from January 2011) and it's loud as hell when that fan gets going. It's in my bedroom and with it running that low I can actually sleep without having dreams of being attaked by hair dryers.

For gaming it's not a big deal, it's quite a bit louder when mining than gaming and plus I use headphones so I can't hear it at all. I also like to keep it cool (~73C) so I don't kill it as it's my main gaming card.

2x Powercolor 7950s (both do 680 apeice) undervolted to 1.118
1x Twin Frozr 7950 650, undervoled .963

3x Gigabyte Windforce 280x do 720 apiece undervoled to 1.075

2x Sapphire 290, can do 880 apeice but run them at 830 since I also game on them.

Have two more 7950 sapphires comeing to finish off my 5 7950 rig, will get 650 apiece from the 7950s.

4x 270 in a milk crate (hope to get to 5 or 6)

2x270 in my WHS

Got them all for about $180 each, one at $200 after the price jump.

All of them doing 465 KH/s each 100% stable. (You can get 485 or so but cgminer restarts frequently or cards get 'sick')

2.79 MH/s

DOGECOIN TO THE MOON!!

24 270/270xs mining between 430-480
1 6950 mining at 430 (to lazy to flash to 6970)

Sold off 24 7950s, 4 280xs, 4 290s, 4 7870s, 1 7850 and 5 6950s.

I have
3X 7850
2X GTX460
2X GT640
1X R9 280X
1X GTX680

I don't pay for power, so I mine on all the things.

One 270X at 485, one HD6870 at 315, one HD7770 at 185. Just got into this stuff... trying to build up some momentum with literally everything I have available.

Since I now know you're using the same Asus cards I am, you might not have to work hard to find a buyer ;)

I'm probably going to be limited to these cards for a good month or two yet.

6 Sapphire 290x... 2 are at 950, 4 are at 915 because they can't do 1500 memory

2 Asus 290, Will not do over stock memory so 830

2 Gigabyte 290, same as above... 830

Are you super unlucky? I've bought 8 290's and they all do 1500 memory. If you run the primary card at 1500 that causes problems when you drop to 2D clocks and the system crashes. But for the 2ndary cards they have no issues. You can flash the bios with the PT1T bios to remove powerplay and not have issues with memory instability anymore.

the 13 are gygabite :p , they were 10$ cheaper (210 vs 220$), didn;t use the 7 i got yet as i've just received my mobos today. should be up and running in 4 days once i come back from my business trip.

At a moment, I am just part time mining on my old 6970 in my main rig, which gets about 470kh/s at Intensity 18 (PC unusable for anything else), and 300 kh/s at Intensity 13 (usable for any non-3d stuff).

Seems we have a lot here with significant mining hardware...what exactly are you mining? Litecoin? another Scrypt based coin which you than exchange for Litecoin, like Dogecoin, Anoncoin, or Worldcoin? Something else?

And if you connect your monitor to your IGP you won't have lag. You have to connect a dummy monitor to your 6970 so that it can run properly. I run two cable to the same monitor, one from the IGP, one from the dedicated card. When I'm doing normal stuff I turn the monitor input to the IGP. when I game, I switch the input to the dedicated card.

3 x Asus 280x 745 hash each

They are all running Litecoin BAMT... and except for 2 of them, they all flicker and eventually crash on 1500 memory.

Is there a way to find out without removing the HSF? Not anxious to break down the mining operation :)

If you go to the overclock forum r9 290 unlock thread and download Hawaii info it will tell you. I think maybe GPU-Z also says????

Most of my cards are Elpida, which is supposedly worse, but they all hit 1500.

I wish I could get my 290's to run @ 1500 mem. I only get 830 per card @ stock speeds

2 290's @ 830 each
1 5830 @ 267

For those who are interested, I did some power testing yesterday

for 2x 290

@ the wall the system pulls .8A idle(96w)

@ load default speeds system pulls 5.8A, - 8A for the system, lets say 5A, so 600W for 2 cards
600W / 2 = 300W 830KH / 300W = 2.76KH/W

@ load 1040/1500 system pulls 6.0A from the wall, - .8A ~ 5.2A ~
624W / 2 = 312W , 928KH / 312W = 2.97KH /W ,

@ load 1080/1500 + 20MV system pulls 6.3A from the wall, -.8A = 5.5A ~
660W / 2 330W , 955KH / 330W = 2,89KH/W

all results were using an amp/clamp meter on the power cord, so effectively @ the wall

I think the 290 is the new KH/W king :p

You are really lucky to have two 290's that like going above 1000 core. If I do that on most of mine hash drops.

I don't think it's card related, TBH I think it's Windows Install related. My friend and I built our rigs together, he has 3 cards I have 2, I tested all 5 cards @ 1000 core / 1500 memory, but on my install I can run it no problem, on his he was having a hard time getting it to 1000/1500, now after 2 weeks of tinkering he managed to get it @ 1040, my 290 in my main rig also drops @ above 1000 core, I will test it at some point in my mining rig to see if it will behave the same.

Also his 280 from his main rig runs 740kh in his main rig, but 660 in his mining rig.

I think it's card related for sure. I have four watercooled cards on the same windows installation. One runs at 960, the others at 880.

I have two Sapphire Tri-X cards, and they like the high core clocks and also run at 950.

I have 3 other reference 290's, and they do not like core clocks above 1000 and run at 880.
