And my much less impressive work setup:

What keyboard is that?
It's the Logitech Elite V2: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+El...974938&skuId=2945413&st=hp keyboard&cp=1&lp=1
Now I'm more interested in getting a pig than my new setup.

Is there a special breed that make good pets?
Lol, he's pretty awesome. He's what's known as a mini/micro pig - they only get about 50lbs max. I'd guess he's about 40lbs now and full grown. These are smaller than pot belly pigs by a good amount. You just need to be careful on the breeder you get them from as all pigs look the same when they're babies - not so as they get older :) I actually adopted him from Craigslist for free, but normally they're $1,500+.

*Drool*

I mean...neat ;). I live in California and there are lots of farms and ranches out so they're not too hard to find. Unfortunately, they're still considered livestock so they're not technically legal outside Ag-X zoned areas :[

Love your setup by the way. Super clean and nice natural lighting. Bet it'd look great at night with track lights too.

Yes, the chair is well worth it. Until you've sat in one for extended periods of time, it's difficult to appreciate.

Not to derail this thread but yes pigs are extremely affectionate. Much more so than any dog I've ever seen. Also, they're very clean and considered hypoallergenic. Not much shedding, 0 smell, and they keep their areas clean. It's pretty funny to watch him. If I didn't mention it already, he uses a litter box (albeit a super sized one).

On Sunday we napped and watched hockey all day. He loves sharing the body heat under the blankets. Pigs like being warm and secure and they also like to burrow.

Tips to buying high end chairs:

1. Try them out before you buy.
Don't buy based on reviews as everybody is different.
2. Don't buy the base model chair.
If you're paying a premium, you should expect a chair that will fit you like a glove. A base model chair more than likely won't do that for you.
3. Don't restrict yourself to brand.
There are other fantastic high end chair brands out there. Knoll and Steelcase come to mind - though I'm sure there are others as well.

People sometimes rave about how their high end chairs changed their lives, but to be honest, sometimes I just like sitting on a folding chair. Maybe that's just me.

It depends on the application. If you're like me and work from home, and thus spend a good 6 hours a day planted in front of a computer, a good desk chair really can change your life. TRY TRY TRY! is the key. Find a furniture showroom, bring a book, and test it out.

I easily spend 12+ hours a day in a chair in front of my computer 6 days a week. I have used several high end, fully loaded chairs. Every now and then I like to pull out my folding chair and appreciate the simple rigidity of a plain chair. Again, maybe that's just me.

Point being, don't go in expecting that whatever money you plan on spending on a chair will necessarily change your life. It may certainly be an upgrade, but it may not be the life upgrade you necessarily think it might be from the praise some of these chairs get.

Had some time on my hands so I redid my setup.

That pig is awesome I want one, did you just get extremely lucky on craiglist? How much does it cost to feed him every week?

I want to know more about this pig, do you have access to General Mayhem?

totally cool pet.
Yes I have gen may access, yes I can post a thread about him.

Yes, extremely lucky. Around here, they're very hard to find. He costs about $2.50 a week to feed (I buy mini pig feed by the 40lb bag).

OK here is my LCD set up currently:

Interesting layout - personally I would have inverted the "T" so your neck doesn't get sore from looking up so much. Trust me, I know - I have 30" monitors with 20" above so the upper monitors are used strictly for things that don't require me to look at them constantly but are nice to have open for a quick peek. I see a chair in one of the pics so I'm assuming it's not a standing desk.

Have you thought about going 5x27" portrait instead?

the franken stein pc is looking great!!! Also that corsair case. I just worked on one yesterday and as soon as I have money, I am getting one too.

P1030027.jpg

23" LG flatron and 2x 21.5" LG flatrons on the sides, powered by two HIS HD7970's in crossfire, though ive neglected to upgrade my case from the old antec 300, just really cant be bothered. Also using genius GX Imperator gaming keyboard and Genius GX Maurus gaming FPS mouse. And another little lenove s10e. And my girlfriends bird getting in the way as usual. on the left monitor theres a neat little seethrough clock thing sticking out, it looks like a glass panel with the time on it so i can check it when im gaming, its really cool theyre like $3 on ebay i recommend them.

^^ other side of my room, next to my bed: Ps3 ultra slim and samsung 32" LCD.
2x acer aspire (core i7)
1x acer one.
Wireless logitech keyboard and mouse so i can use the laptop in bed while hooked up to the tv. oh and some cheapy android tablet. The cabinet is too low for the cables at the bottom to be visible when your standing so it really looks a lot neater.

Been a long time lurker, always enjoy these threads....So I decided to post up my setup... Nothing spectacular.
