Can someone recommend an awesome game? Can be PC, console ect game. I havent played a good video game in ages...I just found an old gamecube a friend let me borrow with RE 4 years ago and wondering if I should play that. Also I saw that Max Payne 3 is out. I remember enjoying the first one on PC. Ive also been itching to go back and play Final Fantasy Tactics for RPG fill lol

The Longest Journey
Vampire the masq; Bloodlines
Dragon Age : Origins

if you can play with friends, the origional Aliens vs predator. It has a coop survival mode that was the first of its kind really. Alot of fun

How is the new max payne? Metal Gear Solid was amazing! Enjoyed the first one more than any other one..

Portal 1 & 2
Uncharted series
Demon's Souls / Dark Souls
Dragon Age Origins
BioShock
Max Payne 3
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (must play on Gamecube)

Gosh, if we're going all the way back to Gamecube, can't forget about Viewtiful Joe. (And Eternal Darkness, as already mentioned. And I would be remiss to not mention Super Monkey Ball, but that probably would not meet everyone's definition of "awesome.")

Kin: are you talking about dark soul: prepare to die? the trailer looks amazing but I dunno how PC version will play...It will prob be a port

Cryostasis:pC
Skies of Arcadia:GC
Tech Romancer: DC
Onimusha:pS2
Resident 2:pS1
GemFire:SNES
StarTropics: NES
Kirby's Adventure:GB
Dragon Force:Sega Saturn
GunStar Heroes:Sega Genesis

Does that cover it or do you need more?

Mass Effect

The more I play it, the more I convince myself that it may be the greatest game series ever.

What kind of computer do you have these days? That may affect the recommendations :p

Diablo 3, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, Battlefield 3, Civ5: Gods n Kings, Dota2, those are the current games in my rotation, if you just want any game, Xcom UFO Defense or Tie Fighter are the two best games of all time in my mind

quad core with geforce 460 =) I just got an invite to DOTA 2 so i think all these recommendations might take a while to get too!!

STALKER:Shadow of Chernobyl. Epic open world PC only game that's a combination of FPS and RPG.

Mount & Blade: Warband, cRPG mod (multiplayer)

Best combat you'll find for any melee game out there - need to be deliberate in your actions and precise, great coding for fluid movements and awesome net coding (they've been testing 200 people servers recently, and its smooth as butter / same as having a 60 pop)

Dang that brings back memories. The only game I can think of that required that you dip your instruction manual in water to progress. Good times.

Company of Heroes. Just started playing it for the first time. Amazing game.

Max Payne 3 was a blast. It's a very long FPS, and pretty damn challenging.

The Witcher 2 is fantastic all the way around.

Eve Online if you want to play the best MMO on the market. Single server with about 30k people playing in one game world at any given time. The market is bigger than a lot of small countries. You can pay your sub fee with in game currency, which is nice.

If your pc can handle it, Metro 2033 was a ton of fun. All the Half Life games were awesome, Dino Crisis 1 and 2 for the Playstation. Oh and all the Assassin's Creed games have been sweet.

I don't play much anymore honestly. It's an amazing game, and the best MMO in my opinion, but it is very complicated and it takes an a lot of play time to accomplish things. I've been meaning to study up on some of the professions, like planetary interaction, and maybe start doing some of that. For 8 years I've only PVP'd, and it just takes too much time these days.

If you have a Wii and are interested in JRPGs, Xenoblade Chronicles is about the best it gets for this current generation's JRPGs.

Same boat here. Played since 2006. Have sunk a hilarious number of hours in every sort of pvp imaginable... Now I just station spin and feel sad that I don't have the time to do anything in null sec anymore. :(
