So, that being said how are you planning to spend your time upon release?

I am planning on getting the Collectors Edition at midnight release or day of. I'm taking a couple days off from work and getting some friends together who I played D2 with, like old times to play some D3.
 
Time off from work already requested.

Saving up for red bulls and energy drinks and cheetos.... the puff kind
 
I've gotten in touch with 3 of my former D2 tribesmen. We're all geared up for another chapter in our epic struggle against the evil most foul. T'will be good to see Tristram again, lo these many years later.

People are basing their opinions on a limited beta, which only played through part 1 of act 1. A bunch of grumblers to be perfectly honest.

I think it will be worth it & give good competition to other hack-n-slashers out there.
 
In about a month I'll be looking to kidnap a hobo to sacrifice to the Dark Lord; I heard you get an exp bonus for doing so.
 
I'll probably go to a Midnight launch at Best Buy with my brother, get us some CE's, then go home and play until my eyes bleed.

Tweezers work well too. Just make sure they're clean. Or those little plastic tongs that you see at a salad bar for the croutons.
 
I'm getting a free, signed copy from the development team so I'm getting ready by doing nothing but sitting on my ass and waiting for my visit with the Dark Lord.

I've been playing D2 for the last couple weeks out of boredom of current games. I will buy D3 when I have 30 minutes to spend on it. Might wait for a patch or two first as well.

Path of Exile will hold me over. D2 was super clicky and i love it! After playing in beta, i expect more of the same and i'm OK with that.

I love the cheese puffs -- but in the middle of frantic gaming I don't see having much dexterity for chopsticks.

Ive had it before where i just grab the bowl and pick up a poof or two with my mouth/tongue. Sounds gross I know, but its quick/easy/saves you from getting your mouse or keyboard all gunked up.

Sure - you might have cheeto dust on your face, and look a bit "special' but who the hell cares? :)
 
Oh, taking off work is a must! I wish I lived closer to GS so I can pick up my copy and get back home with no delay. Gotta get ahead of the game ;)

will wait a week or so after it is released to see.

yes D2 was easy click click click, but the fun was building a character that could get you through the game and LAN parties.
 
I'll be getting ready by taking the $60 I'll save not buying this, and taking my wife to dinner, and using the week of vacation I was saving to go on a trip with my family. Two hours with the beta was all the D3 I needed.

Built my new rig last year in anticipation of D3. I really don't like the way it's turned out. I've found other games to occupy my time. I suppose if everyone is still raving about it 6 months after release, I might get it. There will be too much hype. Even if it sucks, no one will be willing to say it right away.
 
I took tuesday and wed off from work. Just gonna slap that game in my computer, slap around some monsters, 48 hours later will sleep then goto work again.
 
Wish i had vacation time to spend on that, im already spending mine on the week before labor day :/
 
Wow, it's so obvious I feel saddened to be the first to bring it up on page 2:

I'm going to buy a new mouse.
 
I'll probably pick up the game at some point but I don't think it's likely to be a day 1 purchase for me at $60.
