Web Based Photoshop Simulator

lol, so photoshop keeps crashing on OSX, didnt knew about that :)), I guess you learn something everyday

First I was like "Whoa!", then I was like "huh?", then I chuckled, then closed it.

Not getting it. I've never had Photoshop crash on me and I'm a Photoshop user since the very beginning. Unless OSX specific users have issues with Photoshop?

Nope never has crashed on me when using the last three versions of the Mac OS (before that I was a PC+Photoshop guy)

I've been a GIMP user for more then 10 years and I don't recall ever having a single crash. Not bad for a free open source program. ;) I've picked up Photoshop Elements, but never took much time to learn it since everything I need to do or can think of doing I've been able to do with the GIMP. Go get some custom scripts, brushes, and other add-ons and there is not much Photoshop can do that the GIMP can't replicate. Sure, Photoshop may make some things easier, but once you learn GIMP, you can reproduce most of what Photoshop can do.

For many years I was a PS Windows user and never had a problems. The last 2-3 years I switched to a Mac (since my work requires Xcode) and PS seems about as solid. Don't get me wrong, Mac OS X crashes and burns under heavy usage quite a bit more than some versions of Windows, but Photoshop is not the problem...

if you have a mac and photoshop and it crashes regularly this is funny... that's a lot of hurdles for a joke.

Haha that was pretty good. My school uses macs and Photoshop does crash/freeze way more than it should. ON my PC however I've never had a single problem.

Was slightly confused--the news page didn't have any obvious Apple bashing threads.

Slow news week? No, this thread saved the day.

Apple is to [H] as Tebow is to ESPN. :D

It's... not true though...

I have NEVER had Photoshop lock up on me. never. And this is one windows.

Fix your buggy crappy computer before bitching about Adobe.

But it is.

Every crApple i've seen it on (macbook pro, mac pro, mac air whatever) it has been buggy and tempromental, like most programs on those junk piles. Home rigs of various sizes can leave it open for months at a time without it crashing spontaneously (literally months at a time, rig across from me has had a 30000px x 30000px document open for about 5 months now) on a crApple it would hve been crashed for 5 months by now.

I've never had this happen and I've used PS on Mac for hundreds of hours. The best is hanging it for a good 15 seconds trying to save an enormous picture but that happened on my Windows machine too.

No RMB can suck my dick though, just needlessly complicates some shit

Right click opens the context so you can change brushes/things without going all the way over to the top left. This is helpful on multimonitor especially or large monitors, but still is a one click quicker access to something isn't more complicated. :p
