While I don't agree with their picketing, they are hypocrites by using an iphone.
If they disagree with what Apple is doing, then they shouldn’t buy Apple products.

Apple has backed a lot the leftist of groups and their agenda out here in California, so Jobs shares at least some of the blame.
When they went after the Boy Scouts, I decided to never buy another Apple product.
Apple is one of the reasons California is in such a cultural mess.
 
99% of the events they say they are going to protest, they dont. They are meta-trolling.
 
I doubt they even know or care that much about what Jobs was really like,or any of the people whose funerals they've "protested". It's all about the attention and publicity,they know it will be a high profile event.

When they tried to protest a soldier's funeral in this area they awoke in the morning to find that all thier tires were flat and none of the local garages were interested in repairing their tires for them, the local rental car agencies "didn't have any cars available" and the local taxi service had to turn them down because they were just to busy. Bad luck on their part since they were stranded at the hotel until the following day. :D

They are no more hypocrites for using an iPhone than people are for driving Fords when Henry Ford was a massive Jew hater and Hitler had a picture of him on his desk.

If you oppose a company for what they support and you still do business with them then your being a hypocrit, it's just that simple.
 
Westboro BC (Baptist, my rear, as I know plenty of real Baptists) is half crazy --but half crazy like a fox.

Their whole shell game is to get someone to violate their civil rights, so they can sue and win money. The more negative attention they garner, the more it helps them --angry people are far more likely to make a mistake and give them exactly what they want. Their leader's daughter is an Ivy-league lawyer, and as much as I loathe her, stupid isn't a word I'd use to describe her.

The two best solutions are to ignore anything they try to turn into a press event, and to kill them with kindness, no matter how repugnant that sounds. The best responses I've seen are by churches of a community that come out, offer them food, create a human barrier in front of the protesters, and sing hymns. It shields the funeral goers while keeping the peace, and overcomes evil with good. My hat is off to those types.

They are acting out of no religious belief that I am familiar with. More like they are acting out of self--aggrandizement, if anything: "Nobody's heard of us so let's picket the funeral of a well-known personage so that we will be well-known, too." To me, that's just one small step above shooting a celebrity to get your name in the paper. Lunacy. When Jobs said, "Here's to the crazy ones..." I don't think he had these crazies in mind...;)

Besides, companies are man-made organizations that human beings populate. I seriously doubt that God gives "Apple" any thought at all...I'm sure he has better things to do with His time.

No religion promotes picketing like this. This is just a stupid move by a select few that want to rain on someones parade. They probably want to promote themselves for selfish reasons.
 
It is really pathetic these people constantly act this way. The good news is, they will most likely get stomped to death by Apple fanatics and this will be the last funeral they protest.
 
While it's a shitty thing to do and they deserve much name calling and disapproval. I support their right to do it on public property.

LoneWolf has already stated exactly why they are going to be there. The WBC is just a much larger version of the loud college preacher scam - a preacher claiming to represent some (usually southern conservative) christian denomination will hang around a college harassing students, telling them they have sinned, screaming at women that they're whores, until finally some student (old enough not to be a minor, young enough to act rashly) lashes out at them or they hit the jackpot and the school asks them to leave. At that point they sue, sue, sue.
 
This church is a coward, they only picket things so they can get media attention for themselves, and hope to get donations etc to "Fight their fight" and so forth

They are a complete family of cowards, I've yet to see them picket something that was even remotely dangerous like a muslim funeral etc, cause while they are a family of media hungry retards, they aren't completely stupid and even they know picketing a muslim funeral is a stupid idea

Personally I wish somebody would drive up and unload on these guys with a machine gun or a grenade or two, not so much to wipe a few of them off the earth, but to make them realize they have been wasting their lives hurting others and they need to think about themselves and each others well being
