I have them both...the superfis were 60$ new on amazon over the summer. Personally I only use the superfi's for noise isolation...The KSC-75s sound better.

Me as well, I have the Triple.Fi 10 and The 700s and I thought both were way ahead of the KSC-75. Maybe you don't really like IEMs?

I'm being dead serious. Its true though that I dont like IEMS...there is like no bass on them at all.

Personally, I feel that the KSC75s have a fuller sound. The Superfis MAY have better highs i guess?? Anyway, I prefer the KSC75s sound a lot more.

Despite them being 15$, they are reallly good headphones. The only problem is cheap construction but for that price, who cares =/

The KSC75s obviously aren't noise cancelling but don't diss them because of the price; they are legendary and for good reason. I own both Grado 125s and KSC-75s and don't mind listening to either. The old downfall of the KSC75 is the ear attachment mechanism; for whatever reason Koss chose to bless them, their sound is up there with the best.

Hm I need running headphones, and I'm thinking about the KSC75s

Thanks for pointing those out

How good are these really? I misread the description and thought they were noise-cancelling, but really they just fit tightly in your ear. Their website has no option to cancel, and i've been on hold now with customer service for 25 minutes! $63 and change, hmmm...............

They are quite good at noise cancelling, by the inherent nature of an IEM. If you use Comply tips you will be hard-pressed to hear anyone with the music/sound at any appreciable level.

The KSC-75 is not a bad set don't get me wrong, but to my ears the comparison is inaccurate. If you want super heavy outplaced bass and want an IEM you will need to speend more money, but if you are looking for a nice high quality sound these fit the bill nicely.

They're noise "isolating," which, IMO is better than noise cancelling. There's no active processing circuitry, and you don't get processed audio. In many cases, a good IEM tip will act very similarly to an earplug. Much better than active noise canceling, even for airplanes, etc, IMO. You won't be sad.

I don't know about "up there with the best," but they're good. Warm, slightly boomy. A little sloppy, but I don't expect much for ~$20. They're killer for the price, for sure, but not up there with the best. However, they get 80-90% there, and then you're trying to justify dropping 5x the price for the last 10-15%... doesn't make much sense for most. that's the allure, IMHO.

Poor bass response on IEMs tend to point to poor fit, or bad insertion technique [chirp... chirp..]. Look around for proper IEM insertion technique and/or earplug technique. With a little bit of finesse, your enjoyment will shoot through the roof, IMHO.

Honestly, for the price of the KSC-75s there is nothing that can touch them. If you mod them they get even better and this is the reason I have 2 pairs. The the Super Fi 5s are good, but the bass response on the KSCs is pretty golden.

Got mine today. They're not ground breaking / breathtaking but they are very good. I'm not upset I paid $60 for them at all.
