Show Your LCD(s) setups!!!

What's with the backwards sub underneath the desk? First, does it not get in the way? Second... does turning it backwards really improve the sound?
 
Placing the subwoofer underneath the desk produces unbelievably better bass than facing outward... "placing the subwoofer in a corner will equally energize all the room's resonances and maximize the subwoofer's output." Also the dimensions underneath the desk and the solid wood is perfect for the subwoofer.

nice setup altron1! i like you put the bar underneath the monitors that matches the wall color. i thought it was a photoshop at first ;) :D

But i want more specs on what appears to be a home made lego docking station for a HTC phone/PDA?
 
Hello everyone!

I was browsing through all the LCD setups here and a lot of you have some very very nice ones. So I decided what the hell, lets put mine on. And here they are:

2 NEC 21" LCD Monitors.
Left: NEC LCD2190UXp
Right: NEC LCD2190UXp (Soon to be replaced by another 2190uxp as soon as I can find a set of buttons for it)

Also soon to be included but not pictured because it is not here yet, is my new NEC LCD2490WUXI Touchscreen monitor which will be placed in between the two 21". Hope you Enjoy. I will update when I get the 24" setup.

Here is my new setup!

We have: Asus VW246H (24"), Acer X223W (22"), Computer I bought off some guy on the forums here (Q6600), Xbox 360, all hooked into a 2200VA Battery backup.

The Acer is sitting on an Outlaw LFM-1 Compact subwoofer, behind that are a pair of AV123 ELT 525M's, powered by a Cambridge Azur 540A.V2.

Yeah, its nice :D

 
I need to finally take a pic of my setup but i'm pretty lazy.. Anyways V1ktor I have the same desk lol. I also use to place my xbox in that exact same spot but it drove me crazy because my xbox was way too loud and I had to relocate it. I wish i had one of the newer 360's with hdmi and better cooling... oh well.

It's been a while since I've posted; since then I've built a shelf and put my computer tower in my closet:

The doors always open for cables and cooling; stays decently cool, has a good amount of airspace. Still need to spend some money on cables to run through the walls; till then I'll continue tripping on them to get in my closet.


I didn't take a good picture up close so here's an old one for the sake of seeing the monitor better:

Went from 37” Westy (loved this monitor for several years) to a much smaller ASUS 25.5 LCD. This monitor is sharp. Works better with the other two monitors in surround gaming.

I asked before about a good table. The ikea ones aren't gonna do, I need something with medium grade wood and some curvature to go with my eyefinity desk.

It'll go where the yellow piece of shit is.

The the effort and design you have made here. I can tell the sound field "as much as the vision" is equally important to you. Great work. Keep it up. :D

All in all, the way I like it…simple, clean look, and inexpensive (well, the furniture anyway) :D
 
Re-arranged the table for now. I'm still looking for a desk that could look like / serve as a Entertainment Center since this is the only place in this house I want to put a PC. My room isn't big enough for a desk. If anyone has any ideas on what I could do, I am all ears. Before anyone mentions it, this is a temporary setup until I find something I like for a chair and desk - I just moved from MI to TN and I'm still buying furniture.
