Your favorite energy drink for gaming?

Umm... firstly I can get about 100l+ of coffee out of a jar, which I buy for the same price as about 1l of energy drinks. So I'm not sure what you're talking about there. What planet are you on? Even if you're including sugar and cream in your coffee you still wont approach the number of calories in an energy drink. That the entire point of them. Fat does not neccesarily = fat content of food. Fat = Too many calories consumed when you aren't burning them off (gaming). I think you need to take some basic physical education lessons. Your local gym can probably help.

bawls or redbull

i've tried just about every other energy drink and i always end up goin back to the blue bottle. bawls just has teh better taste.

and if i've got any in the house, it's not an energy drink but i'll have a yuengling or 10 LOL while playing.

beer, pizza, and games can't be beat when you've got a few friends over
 
I only drink water, if I feel like stepping outside of my comfort zone.. maybe a diet coke. Everything else is garbage, and useless for your body.
 
Uh... so, not taking the Aspartates in diet coke into consideration, then? I'll stick to regular, tbh :p

2 cans of Diet Mountain Dew keep me going for a good 5 minutes...

Other than that, it's tea FTW

If you're gaming and you need an energy drink, you need to turn the game off. You need to get some fucking balance in your life.
 
I love redbull but its too expensive. I just drink white tea (no caffine) and I seem to be good to go.

Paulaner and Hoe aren't THAT bad. They're pricy compared to "the big 3" but for imports you can likely get a 6-pack inside of $7-8.
If you want expensive, the Dogfish Head 12oz specialty items (like World Wide Stout and 120 Minute IPA) are $10 for a single normal sized bottle. They're wonderful, but at that price...OUCH.
 
I like red bull, but I only buy it every once in a while. Too expensive.

While at college on my guitar hero binge attempting to beat it one night (the last 2 songs are impossible, i still haven't beaten cowboys from hell) I would crack open a Natty Light if i got tired, and boy did a few of them wake me right up.

I used to drink monster. I'd buy it by the case for about 1.10 per can. Usually 1-2 cans a day would work. Now what I do is just buy the ingrediants for about the cost of .50 a can. After tasting the ingrediants you can understand why monster has such a strong taste. One of them has sort of a chemical taste. It is absolutely horrid.
 
If you really need energy, you might try doing some cardio for about 10-15 minutes. I think it works far better than a short burst of caffeine or guarana.
If you're trying to stay awake, nothing's better than Ephedra. you won't see it as a stimulant any longer, but it's available in a smaller dose as a cold remedy in about 1/2 of the country.
Personally I'd rather jog for 10 minutes and drink a beer than any of those energy drinks.
 
I recently went completely off soda/energy drinks, and my energy levels have never in my life been better. I used to always be drinking either loads of diet soda or a couple of E drinks a night. Now it's the occasional coffee in the morning, tea if I want to relax, and sh1tloads of water. I've never felt better, and my CS play has improved dramatically (Even staying up to the same hours of 3-5 am). I highly recommend that some of you try it, you'll see results quickly if you're a heavy caffeine abuser.
 
If any of those energy drinks actually worked, they'd make you restless and cause you to stop gaming and get some actual physical activity.
 
I dont drink anything near my precious. ^^ Beside it give me an excuse to get off my computer and take a minute or so break otherwise I'll literately glue my eye onto the screen 24/7.
 
This might sound completely English, but you can't beat a good cup of tea ;)

(Unless my mates are round, then I have to maintain a respectable image and drink beer, preferably Becks, lol)
