Oblivion Selling Early?

If they told you opening tommorow, chances are they already have it in back and just don't want to sell it today. :(
 
My fiance is a manager at Target, they have their shipment already in the back. :( I'll be getting mine tomorrow. :) Like everyone else. :(
 
3 Hours later, im setting her down. I am sick, and need some rest :(

School tomorrow, but Wednesday I should be able to log a few hours.

gamefly is sendine me a copy for 360 sometime. I'll do a comparison when it gets here. However, its been a week since they shipped Ghost recon and it still isnt here!

Seriously.

I met up with my girlfriend today before heading out to Gamestop (as I mentioned I was heading to earlier), because I wanted to get her Open for Business (she loves the Sims).
So, I got both Oblivion and OfB, and head to her house.
6 hours later, I'm home... but I left Oblivion at her place. :eek:

I took the train home and she tried to let me know when I was in the train, but as everyone should know, most of NYC's subways are underground and carry no cell phone signals. So, I'm not about to head back for another 45 minute ride, especially in this cold.

Sigh. :(
 
That sucks, Verizon installed repeaters or something throughout the DC subway so you get full signal in the tunnels.
 
Yeah but the DC Subway is so loud, either way they are both dirty.
Still cheap transportation and fast.
Europe has the best Trains though, OMG.
Anywho, I was bummed out from not getting it today but tomorow is another day and Ive waited so long whats a day.
 
So to those who have it for PC...What do yall think? The suspense is killing me!

somebody out there (one of us) had to be able to get the PC version monday....
 
Just got done with another session... I am about 5 hours in so far, as aside from some crazy deer chases, I have been sticking pretty close to the story. I am absolutly hooked, but I have to tear myself away so I can get a decent nights sleep. I can safely say though, this looks to be one of the best games I have owned in a long time.... and I forsee many many hours lost to it (not that this is a bad thing).
 
I'm installing it as we speak. It's been sitting on my desk all day, and I've been itching to play it. That's pretty weird that a lot of people have been having trouble getting it today. I'll report back with some reviews.
 
What's weird about it? It was slated for a 21st release, but some peeps got theirs early.. plain and simple.

BTW - BB in Marin City was a no-go.. Looks like Fry's tomorrow for me.. $37.99 also.
 
I think I'm with the one guy who said CE for $39.99 at CompUSSR. Hopefully they get it in tommorrow.

My Collector's Edition shipped last night and will be here tomorrow. Since I probably won't get a chance to play until Friday night, no biggie. I still can't wait though... :p

I could only stomach the annoying commentary for about 20 seconds. I can't see how people who talk like that can find jobs in today's society.

That's the difference between a hard and a soft or rolling release date. Hard release dates are bound by contract, while rolling or soft release dates allow retailers to sell them as soon as they get them after a certain date. The Oblivion press release last month stated that the official release of this game was the week of the 20th, which means that retailers were free to sell it before the 21st.
 
For those in the Stafford, VA area the ebgames in woodbridge across from Borders has one non-resserved copy of the collectors edition left. Or at least they did.

.....because we all know people can't talk/relax at home by themselves and then comprehend not to talk like that while at work....
 
Just got back from EB with my copy of the 360 collectors edition. I guess they had just gotten them in because they were in a shipping box behind the counter, didn't even have the price tags on em yet.
