    Maximum PC ends print publication

Was subbed for over 20 years. I have every print issue of those last 20 years. I had PDF backups of some but I am downloading the archive that is up to Oct 2014 now. The good news is that once I have that archive backed up I can finally clear out all my copies pre 2014.

The Comcast and AT&T lines are like what you would have at home except way more expensive, a lot slower but with no bandwidth cap. Yea in the 3rd world I have setup sip systems strung out across 10 DSL modems and other lines to keep a phone system going but in that case I was literally the...

Maybe I should restate. We are planning on dropping our T1s (our current connection) in favor of having an Ethernet connection to save money. Ethernet is generally the same level of quality for a much lower price. I am asking if anyone has experience with Ethernet ISPs such as EarthLink or...

drives fell out of raid now listed as free

Wanted to update this. A few weeks ago it spit out the two new drives. At this point I suspect the Y power adapter they share is a cause. I have replaced it and moved them to be on a less loaded PSU line. This was done a few weeks back and I have not had issues since. I am now very sure the...

We are planning to drop our 3x3 bonded T1 for an Ethernet pipe. (yea T1s wtf) So far I have gotten quotes from EarthLink and MegaPath. Both are in the same price range for a 3x3 so it is more of a question of who to go with. Does anyone have any opinions of EarthLink vs MegaPath? I am still...

    Windows 10 Recovery Drive

My work has made the dip into windows 10 with some dell laptops. As I am getting everything provisioned on the new systems and learning the ins and outs of windows 10 I have run into a possible issue. I understand that the Recovery Drive Creation in Windows 10 is a bit different than with...

drives fell out of raid now listed as free

Started the rebuild on the first drive (ch7) so hopefully it will finish up in about 13 hours. I also took some time to cut a hole in the wall to add a second ac vent to the room so that will at least keep things cool during the rebuild lol. (room temp would avg around 80F in summer)

drives fell out of raid now listed as free

I doubt that there has been any driver updates on such an old card in the last few years. I added those drives over a year ago and have never that I remember updated the firmware/bios of the card. I suppose after the rebuild I can check and if available update the firmware/bios. As for the...

drives fell out of raid now listed as free

I had 2 drives drop from my raid 6 array at the same time. However, they appear to be fine as in they are listed as free now by the controller and their SMART data looks good. Here is some screen shots of the console: Does anyone think it would be possible for me to get...

ASUS Announces ROG SWIFT PG278Q Premium Gaming Monitor

True but the monitor has a warranty anyways so it should not really matter. Not as though there is actually inventory to exchange it quickly with.
