    Wireless display?

I got one of these awhile back: http://tom.viewsonic.com/support/mobilewireless/airpanelsmartdisplays/airpanelv150/ I've used it with windowsXP and windows 7 systems, and you can do most things, but anything 3d or video related (youtube), does not work too well. It has a nice big screen...

Intel G2 SSD suttering on Win7

Try turning off TRIM in Win7: From an admin command prompt: fsutil behavior set DisableDeleteNotify 1 To turn it back on substitute 1 with a 0 This has helped others using OCZ Vertex SSDs in windows 7 with the same stuttering issues, so not sure if this applies to Intel drives, but...

small and cheap dorm gaming PC

One of my current systems is a X2 4600+ 939, 2gig ram, two hard drives (one SCSI, one SATA), and a dvd drive with the mentioned Thermaltake TR2 430 PSU. I even had a 8800GTS 640m card in it at one point and it still ran fine, so it should be enough for the system you have in mind teamed with any...

    Odd problem - power?

I have the same motherboard, but no problems here. Is your BIOS up to date? It is a risk to update the BIOS on an unstable system, and I think I updated mine through a winflash program anyways, so you might have to try booting off a USB key or even a floppy to load the new BIOS if windows...

Massive problem. Still cannot connect to internet after reformat.

A few years ago when I was in college, we only got one IP address per student, maybe your laptop is taking the only IP address available to you? ...but both were working before...try running ipconfig on your laptop, and manually filling some of the info you see there for your desktop connection...

I need an expert or two......experienced builder needs help.

Anything notable in the windows Event Viewer after it reboots/refuses to load a program? Do you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard? If you haven't tried it already, I would just plug in one hard drive/one optical drive and load windows and your apps on that and see if it still happens.

    New build timing out

Thanks for all those that looked at my post, this seems to have been a router issue, as I tested a backup router, and non of the same issues occurred, so I'll stick with the *new* router for now.

    Video capture card problems

The PVR-500 does not have any special digital tuners, just two plain cable ready ones. If you are attempting to view digital cable channels not viewable thought the straight coax connection, then you will still need to hook up your cable box to view them through the s-video/composite connection...
