Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Processor and video are overkill for TF2. Even if you drop to an i5, and with dropping video to a 4890 or 5770, it'll play the same. You could still play Mw2 as well, just not max it out (probably).

Thanks for that review, and for everyone's help.

Really appreciate all of the help, I would really consider waiting for one of the newer 120hz displays but if they do have issues with ATI I don't think it would be worth the risk.
I've kind of narrowed it down to these, unless I've missed something, then please speak up! :)
ASUS VW246H...
I just put together a new machine, parts should be arriving tomorrow. Now for a new display. I'm thinking something in the 24" to 28" area that is reasonable. Cheaper the better but I don't want to sacrifice quality. $400 and under would be a huge plus, but I can go higher if I absolutely need...
This is what I'm looking at. Please let me know how this sounds, and what suggestions any of you would make.
I live in the USA. This is for gaming. Want to spend between $1000 and $1400 max w/ tax/shipping. Re-using my 19 CRT display. I want to build this machine ASAP. No over clocking at...
