This is what I'm looking at. Please let me know how this sounds, and what suggestions any of you would make.

I live in the USA. This is for gaming. Want to spend between $1000 and $1400 max w/ tax/shipping. Re-using my 19 CRT display. I want to build this machine ASAP. No over clocking at all, default speeds are fine. Mainly looking for a motherboard, nothing extreme, basics, reliable, no raiding or SLI/CF. Yes, I already have Win7.

No idea for mobo (please help me out here)

Corsair TX750? This seems good enough?

Case is open for suggestions-
Was looking at Coolermaster haf 932 or an Antec 900 or COOLER MASTER RC-690

Hard drive is also open for suggestions- I may keep my raptor but what would you recommend HD wise? SSD are beautiful but unless there are some great deals I don't think I want to spend 250 on one.

I would go with LIAN LI Lancool PC-K58W.
 
If you're going to spend that much money on a gaming machine, please don't waste it on a 19" crt. X_X
 
I agree with stiffy on the crt. Unless OP plans to buy a 24"+ lcd in the future, I think a Radeon HD 5850 would be waste for only a 19" crt. Especially if that crt max res is only 1600 x 1200. I would just settle for a Radeon HD 5770 instead. You can always Xfire 2 x 5770 if you plan to get a larger monitor.
 
For gaming on a 19" at 1200x1600, you would not notice the difference between an i7 920 and a Ph2 X4 955. The only reason you would need an i7 for gaming is if you were going with a multi-card SLI/CF setup, which would be useless unless you had a 30" LCD at 2560x1600.

However, to answer your question about which motherboard: They're all X58 chipset motherboards, so they all perform similarly. The only main differences are feature sets and OC ability, though they can all OC rather well, since they're all enthusiast level boards -- too bad you're not OC'ing. Since you don't need SLI, a cheaper option would be the Asus P6T SE. If you don't mind mATX, the MSI X58M isn't a bad choice either, if you strap a small fan to its chipset heatsink.
 
Thanks guys, I will be upgrading to a new monitor but not right away. I have a 22 inch LCD as well that I will most likely use until that point.
