1) What will you be doing with this PC? I game sometimes (FPS games like team fortress 2 maybe some modern warfare 2) Also I use adobe programs like flash, illustrator, PS, DW CS4 because I started web design company.

This looks OK, but I would get a different video card and consequently a beefier PSU.

Something like the 5770 for the video card ($165) and the Antec EarthWatts 650W ($75).

I didn't see Premier listed, so it looks like he's only using the less CUDA intensive apps of CS4, which don't really need a beefier GPU, AFAIK. Though, someone can correct me if I'm wrong. I know ATI has STREAM, but I haven't found out how well its supported with CS4. Hopefully someone has more time to research it more thoroughly than I do.

The card I recommended is perhaps more suitable for the gaming purposes the OP listed. And it certainly won't hinder him in terms of the Adobe applications.

Theres an article on [H]ard OCP on having 12 gigs. you could always try 9.
 
Oh and a 9800 gtx+ can't handle MW2 at 1920x1080. Try a gtx 260 or a 4890.

The 9800GTX+ is an older card. I would not get it when there are better alternatives such as the ATI 4890, ATI 5770, or GeForce GTX 260.

6GB is more than enough for gaming and should suffice for the Adobe uses you mentioned. I would get 6GB at first and see if it meets your performance needs. You can always add another 6GB if needed.

SSDs are worth it if you want very fast loading applications and extremely fast read speeds. You should keep your main applications and operating system on the SSD while your other applications/programs/files are on a mechanical drive. Many people are still satisfied with their fast 7200rpm hard drives.

You're supposed to replace the asterisks with answers, but since he didn't, I looked at the END of the line above them.

I agree, the HD 5770 would be a better card for gaming. Though, even at full load w/ an HD 5770, the CX 400W PSU would still be fine, since the system should be pulling less than 300W.

Though, for a 24" LCD, I'd definitely go for the HD 5850 instead, if you want to play newer FPS games; and consequently a slightly higher PSU in the 500W range.

It depends on the size of the files you'll be working with in CS4, and how many of those CS4 apps you'll be running simultaneously. If all you're doing is working with 72dpi images for websites and small flash intros, then most likely 6GB will be fine.

Actually, if you want to upgrade the vidcard, you can drop down to a P55/Core i5 setup instead, with 8GB of RAM.

Worth is subjective. If you've ever bought a Raptor or VRaptor HDD, or tried a RAID0 array with newer drives, then an SSD is most likely worth it to you. Even if you drop down to i5 w/ 8GB of RAM and an HD5850, you could still fit a single Vertex in there and still be under budget.

You don't need the RE3 server version of the WD drive, especially if you're not in a RAID environment. Can save over $50 there.
 
Processor and video are overkill for TF2. Even if you drop to an i5, and with dropping video to a 4890 or 5770, it'll play the same. You could still play Mw2 as well, just not max it out (probably).

Neither of these would hinder your website needs, and for web images, dream weaver and working with css, 6GB of ram is plenty.

Might need some more advice on that mobo choice. I believe I was looking at that as well but came across some pretty creepy reviews. Worried me enough to make me head in another direction. I'd get more input/info on that board. Don't have time to do that now since I'm "working" :)

I think it really comes down to what you want to do gaming wise. Your website stuff is covered fairly easily. If you are going to mainly stick with TF2 and more "non-intense" games, I'd say save the money. If you're looking to rock MW2 and looking forward to new and upcoming games, I'd probably go with the higher end stuff. I personally got a 5850 and absolutely love it. But I'm an avid MW2 player and looking forward to new and upcoming games..
 
What features of the deluxe do you need? If the SE fits your needs, save your money.

Ditch the IDE burner, get SATA instead (linked in my 2nd build for you).

That RE3 drive relies on a RAID controller to do its error correction. So, if you use it as a standalone drive, you may get data corruption, since the WD TLER tool is no longer supported by WD.

EA650 is fine. I believe the TP-550 is nearly the same price and offers the SAME amount of power on the +12v rail, which is where your system will be drawing most of its power. The good thing about the TP New is its not only sleeved, but its also semi modular and a much better design than the Earthwatts.

For gaming on a single vidcard, even with MW2, you won't notice a difference between either CPU (i7 vs i5) when playing GPU bound games. The i5 will definitely handle the website content creation needs fairly well -- as you can see from the review links I posted above. It's really up to you if you want to waste your money or not. You've been informed, and now the decision is yours.

This is what I got it to so far, Is the case ok? or should I just go with a plain jain case? Is this motherboard ok
for this build? Iv been told this Video card is overkill, I'm not sure what the future may hold as far as games and
programs go and I feel its silly to spend less on a card only to spend more in the future to upgrade(Is this a dumb thought?). Also if the 6GB
of ram is not enough that is something I can easily add later.
 
Looks good. Are you sure you don't want to go with a quality 750W PSU for $30 more? Provides more headroom, especially for a system with a 5850.
