my mistake, you're right about this, my misunderstanding was that VA panels (MVA/PVA) were specifically developed to sit between TN and IPS panels in terms of responsiveness (black-tone-white, ghosting, contrast, gamut), i'm wrong, thanks for clarifying.

Interesting, that Samsung S34E790C (£830(w/o VAT)=$1230(correction:$1298) has a VA panel which; if Samsung engineered it right, should have better response performance for gaming versus the IPS panels (video/photo editing) of the Dell/LG/AOC.

Cool, looks like the new RIV-BE is up to the task for the LN2 overclocking crowd. Honestly, I would've liked them to have also tested achieving high stable overclocks of normal off the shelf IB-E 4820k+4930k cpu's and ram under h2o/air to see how well they did.

wow, RIVE refresh always looks great without all the red (or gold), guess i can live with only 4 fullsize pcie slots.. :)

interesting, well, the RIVE is the only extended ATX form factor in the x79 series. "number one request they get for ROG mobos" lol.. hmm. my guess is they updated the audio from the Realtek ALC898 to the new ROG SupremeFX which some people seem to be having issues with on the new Z87 MVI...
