Called the Micro Center in Denver earlier and they said there was no trace of the 7970 in their system, but I should call back tomorrow in case they get some delivered. Guess I'll be F5ing Newegg/Amazon with everyone else.- xelpmoc

Crossfire is broken in Fallout 3
For me, Crossfire gets disabled after waiting/sleeping, and certain dialog. Alt-tabbing out and back into the game fixes it. Renaming to oblivion.exe fixes the CF issue but it also screws up HDR (light level doesn't adjust properly when you look from the ground to the sky, for example).- xelpmoc

My new 8800GTX Rig
The 8800 GTX does fit in a P180 with the upper drive cage installed -- but you can't have a drive in the top slot of that cage. Here's a picture of mine (the drive on its side came from the top slot in the upper cage -- my bottom cage is already full).- xelpmoc

How do the 8800 overclock?

Is an 8800GTX worth it in this rig?
I put a GTX in my rig, which is pretty close to yours (although I'll be running an E6600 pretty soon). I think it was a worthy upgrade.- xelpmoc

Six hard drives: 74 gig Raptor, two Seagate 160s for miscellaneous crap, and three Seagate 250s in a RAID 5 array for important stuff. Eventually I'll be moving the array to a dedicated fileserver machine, I just need to get around to actually buying the parts for that. But yeah, wiring is...- xelpmoc
