The resolutions are as follows: All resolutions are supported over both DVI and DisplayPort. 1280x720 and 1360x768 aren't listed but I'm sure they're supported. -

16:9 vs 16:10
Besides work and web browsing 16:9 is superior. I scroll on web pages so that extra 120pixels doesn't mean much to me. Nearly Every current Sports/Anime/Prime Time show is in 16:9. The Games I play (TF2, CSS, etc...) have a higher FOV in 16:9. 16:9 16:10 The Majority of movies, which... -

Thanks Toasty, about the Contrast ratio 5:1 tip was simply going on the 178 viewing angles and Nec's past IPS LCDs. If only the Samsung F2380 was an IPS (likely never gonna happen) it would of been sweet. Also received conformation from Nec today: The V221W uses a TN panel. S. Balgaroo NEC... -

Well E-IPS isn't expensive as the 2209WA was selling for around $200 for the same size. Ya I noticed the 24WMCX maybe false viewing angles on Nec's part to maintain their quality image. I guess I can only hope. Maybe someone owns one here?
