Well that settles it, I suppose I'll flash the bios to the latest non-beta version.
Originally I had flashed the bios because I was trying to eliminate a booting blue-screen, but ever since I formated and installed Vista that has been a thing of the past.
Back to the non-beta I go, and...
I'm not sure when it first started, but lately I've noticed that my POST screen says "COUNT : 2" when it used to say 4. I've got a Q6600 that I know used to display as "COUNT : 4". It seems that Vista is just fine; taskmanager shows 4 cores, device manager shows 4 entries, and CPUZ shows 4...
I had a KDS CRT years ago, was really nice then it crapped out on me. I didn't think KDS was still in existance, I wouldn't be surprised if this was another company that bought the name.
As for this monitor I cannot comment sorry. :(
Yeah I mean 60 mm = 6 cm :D
Oh and I realised I spelled bus with two s's :p
Well do you trust a fan bus for important stuff like a video card or CPU?
Thanks
I have a Leadtek 6800 GT and have carefully modded it with a 6 cm Sunon fan. I unscrewed the filter and carefully took out the tiny factory fan. I then zap-strapped the the Sunon over the hole in the fan shroud, the fanshroud is perfect for a 6 cm fan!
Now my question is.........
Would...
I have noticed my posts disappear as well. I posted 2nd in a thread that made it to the front page. I noticed that after it was linked to the front page my post was gone! I think I was edited out or something. :o
Ok, so I've set the jumpers on both my drives to Master and Slave respectively, I've also replaced the IDE cable to the HDs. So far I have not replaced the cable to the optical drives. This morning on boot-up it took 30 seconds or so for the bios to recognize my IDE drives! Ahhh! I am getting...
Its taking ages to detect all onboard IDE, HDs and optical drives. I was checking out Maxtor's website and they claim that all cable-select capable drives should be set to cable select! Huh? Since when do we not set Master and Slave on our HDs? I think I have one drive set to Master and on...
Mother Board Monitor detects my max CPU temp durring Sisoft Sandra CPU Burn-in at 63c. Sisoft detects the temp to be 60 max. I am running a P4 [email protected] on an Asus P4P800. Which program is more accurate?
Thanks
For some reason after transferring the contents of my PC to a new case (Antec Sonata), I now have to wait at least 45 seconds for my bios to detect my IDE drives! Now the obvious factor here is the cables are bad, but I can still do everything on both HDs just fine in windows and there doesn't...
So what do you consider safe Prescott Voltage? My box says I can go 1.4v max which I am pretty happy with, but I want to push my CPU farther. I have an XP-120 with Arctic Silver 3 (I still have a lot left from my last install) I am running a 3.2E @ 3.6 1.4v. Right now with Sisoft Sandra...
