I had the same issue with my EVGA 970s, one was the SC blower model one was the ACX 1.0 model, resolved by doing the same by using the DifferentSLIAuto tool, and worked fine. Now I score about 15.5K o/cing my cpu to 4.5ghz and mildly overclocking the 970s
Well, per a suggestion on the evga forums, i got the SLI to enable using DifferentSLIAuto tool. Though im still puzzled why this was needed to get it to work since the 2 cards are identical, and even have identical Device IDs and everything else (according to GPU-Z), the only difference is the...
Well the new bridge didnt help, tried swapping the cards no luck, they both individually work fine. I tried clean installing with 1 card, than adding the 2nd card after reboot, an that didnt work either.
No, im not running any other pci-E cards. l will try the one card at a time thing when i get home tonite. And yes i updated the BIOS as well, and that didnt make a difference, Ive heard some ppl had issues with Realtek drivers causing problems with SLI?
I got my 2 EVGA GTX 970s last nite in the mail. I purchased a superclocked blower model and the ACX 1.0 model to use on the bottom. Anyway, both cards are being recognized by windows & GPU-Z, but ive tried to get the SLI option to show up in nvidia control panel, but i cant enable it. I have...
I ordered the the EVGA Superclocked Blower Model and the superclocked ACX 970 model, what would be the recommended way to SLI these 2 cards, blower model card on top and ACX on bottom, or vice versa?
I see it now, I think ill just stick with my EVGA purchase though. I went with the superclocked blower and ACX combo from EVGA. Same price with shipping if i go to newegg, I had a good experience with EVGA before.
Depending on the state, no tax was applied to my purchase in WA state. I went ahead and with the EVGA superclocked blower and the superclocked ACX card instead from EVGA (Cancelled my amazon.com order earlier). Better running the blower card on top and the ACX card on bottom in that configuration
Ya if it got delayed a full 18 months and no ARM CPU onboard as planned, that would be pretty lame if that ends up being the case where this unified architecture gets pushed into the next generation Pascal or Maxwell refresh.
