It's all BS. I refuse to buy a crippled card for the same price! I just took myself out of the waiting list! There are a lot of ways they can implement to prevent cards from getting into miners hand but they are just taking the cheap easy way out.

success!!! The $25 colorimeter saved the monitor. well over 12,800 hrs used and after calibration, it looks great! would i be able to use that probe with other x-rite software to calibrate other monitors?

The flash is very fast like sub second. I almost want to describe as like seeing lightning on half of the screen. It only happens once or twice each day. Other than that, no other problem. For the price i paid for it of $280 (on sale price of $290 + some other discount at that time on ebay)...

There appears to be a newer version of this monitor now with a newer stand which has full adjustments including tilt, swivel, height and portrait/landscape. sadly, the newer version only have one DP and one HDMI2.0 with two HDMI 1.4 ;(

Found what I was looking for!! Win7 goes to extreme length to hide the content.ie5 folder on my computer. Even after already enabling showing hidden files, etc it still won't show it inside the temporary internet files folder. I have to manually append the content.ie5 to the folder address...

Yes, i can confirm that it did delete the incomplete download as after my download finally timed out, it frees up 2GB space on my C:. Then again I was actually looking for that temp file to copy it out before it got deleted. I will have to test this out later tonight with another download....
