Yes, i can confirm that it did delete the incomplete download as after my download finally timed out, it frees up 2GB space on my C:. Then again I was actually looking for that temp file to copy it out before it got deleted. I will have to test this out later tonight with another download....

it won't make any difference for gaming since most game above 1080p are gpu limited. and if you really need the multithread apps then you should look elsewhere. like2x e5-2670 which cost $130 for 2 cpu and would completely clobber a single 6800k at anything heavily threaded

don't see really much 2686. like strat said, it's a custom chip so not as much avail. I am actually surprised that it's doesn't cost higher than 500 b/c the only other 18 core is the 2699 which is like $1k.

I think the e5-2686 v3 while more expensive at $500 is the best deal compared to 2673 or 2683. you get better clockspeed and a lot more cores for not that much more.

you need win 10 build 1511 at least to install the win10 drivers for gtx 10xx. found this out last weekend myself. you probably got the initial release of win 10. So you either need to install all the updates or find a win10 b 1511 and do clean install. The latest win 10 is actually 1607.
