I'm going to be using them for music, gaming, and movies pretty equally. I don't think the Z560 has digital inputs, but I realized that I'm going to need them for true Xbox 360 surround sound. Does anybody know of any speakers with such inputs for around $120?

I was just wondering which would be better, the Z560 which is about 400 watts with only 4 speakers, or the Z5300e which is 280 watts with 5 speakers. They're both about the same price. Thanks

Thanks for those links. It seems that in most cases, a 5.1 system is favored. However, since I'm using these as computer speakers, I'm going to be sitting right in front of my computer. That means that there is going to be a lot of space behind me: Would 7.1 speakers better fit this room...

The X-540's are the same price as the as the 7.1 speakers, so anything better would be out of my budget. Would having 7.1 speakers actually make things worse , or just not any better. Because if it's the latter, I might as well just buy the 7.1 speakers since they're the same price.
