Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thats what I did up to a ship with 30 slots. Can't do more, it's too boring.
Funny you mentioned Elite: Dangerous. I too have had that game for many months and was motivated to play it. Yesterday I fired it up, got about 10 mins into it, and quit. It's an issue with the controls. I just...
I'd go with an intel i5, an affordable motherboard (I have had great luck with lower end gigabyte MBs under $100), high-end video card (nvidia 1070 is probably best for now), whatever you can afford in RAM (don't worry about getting the fastest, low-latency RAM money can afford. It doesn't...
Sort of at the point in this game where I'm not entirely sure if it's worth proceeding. Maxed out my suit inventory, my ship is fine and multitool is pretty tough. I don't feel like grinding for $75 Million to upgrade to a larger ship. Don't know what else to do except put it down and hope...
I'm enjoying the game. But to be fair, I don't believe a word out of these guys mouths when they talk about adding new features. I've a feeling they've not realized the hype-train has come to a stop. Maybe they''ll pull it off, add the features everyone wants, and all will be happy. I'd be...
I get sad thinking of the tremendous lost potential of this game. It feels almost like a tech demo without all it's features in place. I wish there was more to it, more to do aside from, well, upgrading your inventory and bouncing around from planet to planet. The alien races aren't all that...
Can't wait for this one. My only concern is that the trailers seem to show a very "serious" tone. Obviously the setting is grim, but I hope they haven't abandoned the dark humor that was so pervasive in the other games.
I played the demo and had similar problems. Same problems I had with Dead Island. I would love these type of games if it weren't for their crumby controls.
Wouldn't it be best if the final game was released and actually played before everyone loses their minds?
Maybe not. I'm not the type that typically gets whipped into a frothing, slobbering frenzy over anecdotes and hearsay, so I'm admittedly a little out of my element here. Just a suggestion.
