Dying Light mouse issues?

I can't seem to get the mouse controls right in Dying Light. Not sure what the issue is, but the mouse seems to "float" and it's just not accurate. Maybe it's mouse lag? Maybe it's some kind of mouse acceleration? Whatever it is I do not like it and I can't seem to make any changes to how it behaves in the game other than speed and smoothness.

Anyone else have any issues with mouse movement in Dying Light?

I played the demo and had similar problems. Same problems I had with Dead Island. I would love these type of games if it weren't for their crumby controls.

I couldn't play this game M+KB. I played it with a Xbox ONE controller, though I did use the mouse to aim for the headshot challenges.

It took me a lot of tinkering to be happy with the mouse controls. I found the vertical and horizontal speeds were never quite the same no matter how I tweaked things, too.
The game plays fine with a pad, so I use that most of the time.
