I am currently finishing up an application that uses grids to allow users to view, modify and add data to Oracle tables. I am using VB.NET 2003. I was told by the users that they want to do bulk loads into the grid. I am trying to import the excel data into the a dataset and then merging it with...

Thanks for the Input from everyone. We always treat the customer service person nice. They are not the person who did this, it sounds like the shipping department. We got three-quarters of the order fine, but the main components either didn't come in or were completely wrong. That is what we are...

Recently my best friend asked me to build him an ass kicking machine. After much research we ordered a new Conroe, Intel 975X, 2GB of Corsair DDR2, 2 500 G HDD, Samsung DVD-R, Themaltake Case and a Kilowatt PS. The MB and Memory got backordered. The memory got back ordered in a very...

Sorry if this has been asked before. I have a Standard XBox and use a keyboard and mouse for some shooter games. My son has a 360 and I was thinking about trying a Keyboard and mouse combos on the 360 for shooters. Can you use the USB ports for a wireless keyboard and mouse combo?

I want to get my daughter a DS Lite for her birthday. She is an avid GB SP gamer but fell in love with her friends DS. But once she saw the DS Lite she wanted that. Does anyone know a good site that I can get one? Are the prices pretty much the same? Would a brick an mortar be as good as getting...

I have created an application that allows users to update, add and delete from a rules database. There are about 70 tables in the schema so I build the grid on the fly each time. I showed it to the users last week and they came up with some suggestions and one of them is to be able to cut and...

Yes, I did run Anti-virus and anti-spyware, nothing. Word runs fine, it seems to be when I try to run any install, the Office 2000 install comes up. I will give the solution #3 a try and see if that takes came of it.

I am looking at a friends system and everytime she tries to install something, the install for Word 2000 keeps coming up. Is there any way to find and kill this process?

Thanks for the info and opinions on this.

I am building a new gaming system for my buddy. He wants a fast processor for under $700.00. I like the A64 and suggested the X2 4800+ but he looked at the Intel Pentium D 950. He looked at the MHz rate and the 950 is higher. Also does the DDR2 make that much of a difference over DDR? Is...

We both use comcast and I checked the settings and they are the same. I checked the POP3 settings and they look fine.

Okay, let me check,

I'm looking into a friends system and I keep getting an error that reads: "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook Express and se it as the default mail client" They currently have Outlook Express...

R1ckCa1n, thanks for the info, but as I said in my post, I get uninstall errors when I try to uninstall the drivers. They will not uninstall.

Today I downloaded the new drivers from Nvidia to update my 7800GT. When I went to uninstall the drivers I got Uninstall errors. When it looked like it was done, the drivers were still there. I ran the driver update and it appears to work. I don't really like this setup, How would I...
