I think they're going to eventually prove that there is no way to create unhackable hardware... At least not without gimping it so hard that the vast majority of the hardware's power goes to defending itself against attacks.
By the time they finish all of this, CPUs will all be single thread cores as fast as a 486, with the rest of the CPU being dedicated to realtime attack detection.
The Creation Engine was just a modification of an older engine, which was a mod of an even older engine that was used for a lot of games around 2002.
When they modded it into the Creation Engine they actually made it WORSE by also making TXAA a part of the engine core, which just makes thing...
I feel like everything is going back to the ancient roots. Nothing will be left in-line, everything you click will just take you to some window with a million things you don't need 99% of the time that you have to search through to find some function that was immediately available before.
Doesn't sound extreme when compared to laws already on the books for thing to protect corporations against individuals that can lead to fines larger than the person could earn in 10 lifetimes.
If it were 25 years ago I'd probably agree. But I seem to get headaches with it off now, so.. I don't recall my TV having that setting on by default though.
