Let me get this straight, that Switch has HDMI-out, HDMI-in, HDMI-in. So what I need to do is:
1) HDMI-out (360) to HDMI-in (switch)
2) HDMI-out (switch) to DVI-in (Monitor)
3) DVI-out (computer-videocard) to HDMI-in (switch)
If so, then I just need to buy another HDMI-DVI cable and...
I am beginning to think that one of the main flaws of the NEC is the lack of connections. I've been switching back and fourth from PC to my 360 with the DVI connections and it has been killing my ass to do so. It is such an irritation to unhook the device on the back, twist those two knobs and...
I had the exact same decisions. I wanted to get the LG 245 ($600) since it was some $150 cheaper than the NEC, and it also comes with HDMI. I bet that if you can get a good copy of the LG 245 then you've got yourself a good deal with no regrets.
I was just worried of sending it back and...
Is there a difference between HDMI-DVI cable and HDMI-DVI-D cables?
I ordered Belkin HDMI-DVI-D PureAV silver series video cable and received a Belkin PureAV HDMI-DVI video cable? (it says 720p- 1080i). Now are these two cables identical or did they misship/misadvertized?
Holy crap is that how the BenQ maps 1:1?? That is serious loss of real estate. Correct me if I am wrong but other monitors keep the full horizontal resolution and only add small borders at the top and bottom-> Not massive borders all around ala, BenQ.
I am trying to hook up my 360 to this monitor but cannot, Does anybody know how I can do this??
There are no component inputs on this monitor. I will need an HDMI to DVI-D cable? (Can I use a dual 24pin DVI-D head for this or just a single 19pin?)
and as mentioned before- this will mean that I...
I just received this monitor...Holy COW!! Awesome, simply gorgeous. No dead pixels. And puts my 20" Samsung to shame. I was feeling bad because I had thought that I should have picked up a 30" instead but now I am very glad that I did not. Twenty Four is more than enough and I may stack another...
My story begins with buying a Samsung 225 Widescreen with an ATI card about a year and a half ago. The monitor was beautiful but after 14 days, a pixel line appeared on the monitor. I restarted it but the pixel line was there even during windows start-up and it looked permanent. So I returned...
I went with an NEC 2470. Most expensive out of the 24inches but I think because it also has the best quality.
You get what you paid for.
At work I have a BenQ 20 and Dell 20 side by side and the BenQ is a little brighter, the Dell may be more saturated. But the problem with these monitors is...
I agree, you will regret it if you go with a dual 22.
I'd get a 24 and then maybe 6 mos later get another 24 when the prices are around $400.
Or get Dual 30s....WHOAA....nice but realistically too big. Good luck spending 8 hours in front of dual 30s.
It depends. For me I think that a 24" is perfect. dualed with another monitor. I have thought about a 30 but that is just too big for a monitor. But I do plan on owning a 60inch LCD hdtv but that is another thing.
