Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
This weekend I purchased a computer that I've wanted for very long time. (Btw, first new computer that I have every purchased for myself). I only wish the OS was XP Pro instead of MCE 2005. After reading some older posts, it seems that MCE 2005 is in part build on XP Pro. If that is correct...
I am sure glad it's you and not me! I thought my new video card was causing problems. Yeap ... it's YOUR problem and not mine. LOL, I've got my own problems to fix anyway.
I am having a heck of a time with the html rendering on this site. Sometimes the background disappears and I get a white rendering with no formating. This is the only site that I am have trouble. Any suggestions?
I purchased a DVD from Fry's Electronics and after 3-4 weeks, it stopped working. Got a RMA, but Memorax can't find it. Next ... applied for the $20 rebate and Memorax says I purchased the DVD outside the rebate dated, which is not correct. The receipt has the correct date clearly printed on...
I also visit OC forum, which often reports more visitors than here. I prefer this forum. But I have to ask, why is this site so painfully slow as compared to the OC forum? You would think with DSL at 2606 Kbps or 2.6 Mbps (318 kB/s) I would be able to move somewhat easily among the forums...
I was at Best Buy last night to look at two (2) Velocity Micro computers. Both had the case with the flip external doors for the DVDs. On the first computer, for no real reason, I hit the open button on the top DVD and that door blocked the DVD tray, causing the tray to go repeatedly go back...
That's an interesting observation. And as a matter of fact, we've order about 25 computers from Dell (business) in the last 10 years and each experience was positive. During all those years, we have not had a single hardware failure (knock on wood).
And so it goes.
Just an FYI for those considering a Dell computer. We order 7 laptop computers and carrying cases on 11/1/06. Everything arrived on time or early and without damage. We checked out each computer, which worked perfectly. One (1) computer was missing the CD for the re-installation for the...
Actually, at 60 years plus, I don't know anyone who would invite me to a lan party. LOL. And none of my friends play any computer games. When I stopped in Game Stop last night, I was the oldest person in the store and in fact, older than the parents of the kids who worked there. But those...
I'm trying to replace a VooDoo 16 meg video card, which is a PCI card. The CPU is a Pentium 3 at 1.0 ghz, 512 meg of PC100 RAM, and a 250 watt power supply. I'm looking for a 128 meg PCI video card. I don't even know if I even asked the questions correctly? Dang, I don't know if a128 meg...
Can you point to that press release? I've not found anything in my mailbox or on their website. Or is this the system you referenced above?

Thanks.
Same question. Last week I sent VM an email asking about this computer since sales had advised me I could order as late as the end of October. But I never got a reply to my email, which was as disappointing as missing out on the Campus edition. SOL ...
