I agree that the internet is similar to the invention of the printing press, in that it greatly accelerated the ability of people to share and obtain information. The "smart vs dumb" argument doesn't make much sense though. People can definitely become smarter by absorbing information, however...

Don't buy from eBay if you want any sort of warranty support on your card. If you're buying new, it's worth waiting for a sale from an official source.

So I heard back from support earlier today, it seems that they are still willing to move alpha access for this sale, but I would ask ahead of time just to be sure: So I now have a 350r... I'm done spending money on this game now. Probably. :D

I'm extremely tempted to upgrade my 315p to a 350r. Does anyone know if the upgrade packages come with the 2-year insurance? EDIT: Anyone think they would let me melt my current package and pick up the 350r anniversary package instead and somehow keep alpha access?

The weapons in the demo looked like laser/energy weapons to me, which would mean there would be little or no recoil. They do seem to use magazines though which is kind of counter-intuitive.

Fark... of course I missed the 350r upgrade :( Does anyone know when it ended? I can't find much info other than it was available a month ago.

From the drawing, it looks like the projector covers the entire lens instead of a small box, which would be a huge improvement.
