Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Ok, I haven't had the time to try this yet, but I was wondering if this version of Driver Cleaner Pro will work properly in Windows Vista 32-bit:

Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a try. I just have two questions:
When you say "delete the Nvidia folder (root)," do you mean the driver files or the files in System32?
My second question is how do I delete all the old Nvidia files, or will driver cleaner take care of all of the right...
Ok. Well, I just got World in Conflict the other day and it's an awesome game. It runs great on the system in my sig running Vista Home Premium 32-bit on max settings and 1680x1050.
So everything's running smoothly until I beat the first level and the game shifts to the cut scene. At that...
This might be a stupid question, but I was wondering if Uninterruptible Power Supplies have a magnet inside of them, and if they do, is the magnet strong enough to damage a hard drive.
I'm asking because I have a UPS sitting right next to my PC. Nothing bad has happened to my data over the...
Actually, you can have the game download all the maps and everything all at once rather than having it do it each time to enter a new area. Just right click on the game's icon (whichever one you use to launch the game), hit properties and add -image at the end of the target path. So it should...
OK, just to update: it seems that regardless of what AA settings I apply in the Nvidia Control Panel (besides off), the card only applies in-game settings. If anybody has any idea why it's doing this, please explain it to me because I haven't a clue. :(
If you (or anyone with a G80 card) could, would you please post a screenshot of your settings? I'm having some strange AA and Nvidia Control Panel problems and I just want to make sure I didn't mess anything up in my settings.
If any of you could post your G80 settings in my thread, it'd be...
I did set the Nvidia Control Panel to override application settings (and I set AA to 8). However, it doesn't seem to be doing it in the game. I set Oblivion's game profile to follow the global settings too (so override application with 8x AA), but the jaggies are still there.
The problem is...
I turn it off cuz I sleep pretty much next to the thing and its pretty loud at night. That and we've been getting a lot of thunderstorms around here lately.
OK, I'm currently using Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit with the 158.45 drivers.
In the Nvidia control panel, I set AA to 8x and made it "override application settings." Things were fine for a while (mostly because I turn on AA in-game too), but when I loaded up Oblivion with HDR on and AA...

Well, I've decided to just stick with the Corsair PSU. I filled in my system specs on the Outervision Extreme PSU Calculator and under max everything (plus 25% for capacitor aging, though I'm not really sure how much I was supposed to put for that), and the OC'ed quad, the wattage added up...
