1) Do all the downloads and map loads always load right around 100kb/sec? These things are taking like 5 minutes a piece and is REALLY blowing the mood of the game.

2) Is there anyway to teleport between towns? I honestly have no clue where the hell I am, but I'm supposed to go way backwards because I missed a quest.

Ehhh..?

Once you unpack the files for that city/area you never need to do it again, it will speed up, also it helps if you install from the game disc rather than download the client. BTW if your interested I'm in a very helpful guild that you can join, just press N to add me to your friends list, my name is george of kastanza :p

Do either of you guys have a trial key to Nightfall? I'm interested in picking it up but want to try it first.

Actually, you can have the game download all the maps and everything all at once rather than having it do it each time to enter a new area. Just right click on the game's icon (whichever one you use to launch the game), hit properties and add -image at the end of the target path. So it should look something like: "C:\Program Files\Guildwars\GW.exe" -image. After that, hit apply and double click the launch icon. It'll start downloading EVERYTHING for the game. It'll probably take a couple of hours, so let it run over night or something and it'll close out when it's finished. Then just delete -image from the target line in the properties menu. Start the game and everything should load in a couple seconds.

And to teleport between towns, just hit M (or map in the menu), click on a town, and it'll let you travel there, but only if you've been there before.
